Should be 35,000 to each club minimum. I appreciate the need for some corporate and Club Wembley, but a Cup Final is no place for a neutral. Who really wants to go to someone else's final? I was at Wembley for the final of Euro 96 but couldn't give a flying f*ck who won to be honest!Robin_L wrote:Blame the FA, not Arsenal, we should have a minimum of 5,000 tickets extra to improve the odds in the ballot. 20,000 for the 'football family' is excessive and feeds the black market.

Don't agree with 35k for hull tbh, there would be thousands of tickets on the black market if that happened with hull fans filling their boots. Dunno whats gonna happen with our 2 out of 3 now, looks like its caused more problems than its worth.MK Gould wrote:Should be 35,000 to each club minimum. Re: Cup final tickets
Problem lies with telling a smaller club "you're having a smaller allocation than them because you aren't going to sell out", which then gives the bigger club extra time to flog the lot in one go as a single increased allocation size.
But I suppose Hull are perfectly within their right to say "give us the same as Arsenal and we'll sell out to, albeit much more slowly via a general sale" and with a considerable amount destined for profiteering on the black market.

If he does this then I will feel guilty as tickets are in his name (and he has 2 memberships) and he was giving me his spare.

Re: Cup final tickets
that effing sucks for those that didn't get them.
Arsenal are dicks end of. they should of kept ST's to 25,000. the FA will never ever change that allocation for us.
i wonder how many pissed off STH's will think eff it and not renew next year...
its going to be the same deal should we ver get to a Europa Cup final too..

Re: Cup final tickets
As for the partial allocations for groups...that is sick. Maybe everyone in the group should share the additional cost for buying off a tout for those who have missed out...?
But the principle should be that that there should be 70k tickets to share between the two finalists. If Hull only need/want 30k then Arsenal would get 40k. Simple as. With smaller numbers that is exactly how it worked with Wigan and Man City last season.nut flush gooner wrote:Don't agree with 35k for hull tbh, there would be thousands of tickets on the black market if that happened with hull fans filling their boots. Re: Cup final tickets
I said it before and im going to say it fucking again, this is the most obvious and fair way of doing any ballot.
Arsenal have x tickets, they shouldn't allow groups of any more than 4 and work the ballot in a way that if a lead applicant is successful that all the applicants will get tickets. Computers can work out a fair way of distributing the tickets its not rocket science. Then we don't get situations like ours where I feel like shit for my mate opting out of his right, which then makes me feel like a *word censored*.
As usual Arsenal for a cup final fucked up royally again.
