Dortmund away match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

See the comments after the article? People wonder what Wenger has to do to get sacked, there's your answer. We have an untouchable autocrat in charge.
Yeah. Talk about Stockholm Syndrome.

We're a leetle bit of a laughing stock for playing directly in to Dortmund's hands.

Unfortunately, the boss just keeps on going with no oversight and this will only change when the car crash happens.

I for one can't wait.

Wenger crashed his car at City, Liverpool and Chelsea last season.
It still keeps going though.

We were unbelievably shite. Arteta is the slowest fucker I've ever seen playing in our midfield. The team is a shambles, the manager is completely clueless. Our attack is impotent, our defence an utter mess. It's gonna be one long long season.

Been away in the Netherlands all week on business and had the misfortune of watching this in a local bar. Amazed at how Wenger's web of illusion still reaches far and wide. A couple of the local lads watching the game kept expressing their surprise to me because "Arsenal has such a strong team" and Dortmund had lost all of their best players

Our performance summed up why I hate this fucking competition. Come up against a top coach and get mauled - Dortmund indeed have lost their best players but the pace at which they closed us down, motivated by their man on the touchline, was the exact opposite of our tip tap midfield and wide open defence. Some of the most brainless open football I've ever witnessed in the second half. Wouldn't have looked out of place if we'd been thumped by 5

Still we'll probably limp through in 2nd place ready for the next walloping in Feb / March in the last 16

Predictable as ever
