city away thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I had 2 anti-Wenger banners taken away. They basically said you weren't allowed any pro or anti Wenger banners. The city steward's checked my banners and then called another Arsenal steward (I think) who said I couldn't take them in due to what they said.

It was noticeable at the end there was a large pro banner so draw your own conclusions..
OK - I take back what I said. What a bunch of tossers.

I think that will likely be a big own-goal from an Arsenal perspective.

Can't speak for what happened at the top, but down the front, as soon as we put the banners up the AKB just went for us as they don't like anyone questioning their messiah.

The police and stewards waded in to take the banners down, I assume in an effort to restore order.

So it's ok for the fans to be supportive of the regime but not to be against it, wonderful club we all support and nice to see our fellow fans ensuring we have the right to express our views.

Plod doing bugger all helpful as usual because it's easier to remove one or two individuals than a bunch of aggressive twats

Think i'll find something else to do for the next 3 or 4 seasons because i feel completely disassociated with the club i once loved and grew up supporting, their is no point supporting a football team which has absolutely no ambition beyond having a decent bank balance

Stan out
Cech out (by the way you useless plank that doesn't mean dashing out like you did earlier when Koscielny had it covered)
Wally out
Ramsey out
Giroud out
Loads of c.unts who hardly ever play out
The whole medical team out
The Ox out
