Absolutely. But for me that's where an experienced manager knows what to do or say to get the guy back on form and doesn't let it get to the stage it did with Aubamewingie. Martinez-Lite seemed to be so keen to show he was a strong manager that he let that take priority ahead of the good of the club.

And that the point I was making,I know he was a frustrating lazy bastard in the end but if arteta managed him better and played him in his preferred position his attitude might have been different,because the bloke knows where the goal is,not like we are seeing at Arsenal now,we’ve missed 2 or 3 clear chances tonight

The only difference being that the likes of Mong and Denilson were what we had in the immediate era of moving to the bowl. Carpet head is managing that sort of football with a 45 million midfielder, Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli and Smith Rowe. Quite extraordinary.
