The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

While Arsenal are holding Valencia to ransom as they know they have to unload due to FPP rules.....rumour is Liverpool are now looking at Mustafi

Would love it if Liverpool snatch him away, after Arsenal think they are so clever in negotiating

would make my year if this happened,TOF would look an even bigger bell end as the season comes crashing down around his ears

There are at least a couple of dozen centre backs better than we have. Just buy one of them. Mustafi isn't Beckenauer. Just fucking buy one.

Mahrez signs a new 4 year deal at Leicester.

Wanka - not only does he make millionaires at Arsenal he's now doing it at Leicester.

Mahrez is in his prime and Leics have done well to tie him down, but Vardy should thank Wenger; he'll be 30 in January and has got a 4-year, 100+k pw contract and I can't see him being the same force in three or four years.

Wouldn't surprise me if Wenger's taking a commission from all these new Leicester contracts!

Mahrez signs a new deal.  Another good season and Leicester will sell him to PSG for crazy money.

Couldn't agree more - penny pinching that we have all seen in recent years, will be really exposed to a broader audience if mustafi is signed by another club from right under our noses
I know zilch about mustafi and I don't know if he is good enough or not, but if the club have identified him as the answer then get the deal done already  Anyone else see another vardy scenario unfolding here ? All our eggs in one basket and then the deal dragged out before collapsing and leaving us with no back up plan

The management on and off the pitch clearly do not give a flying fuck about us having a realistic chance of winning the title or getting to the later stages of the PL, that much is obvious.

I hope all those sheep who sit their silently or even worse brainlessly chant TO1AW enjoy another year pissing a small fortune away to watch Giroud and sub-standard team-mates saunter about with grossly-misplaced arrogance and get swept aside by any decent well-drilled side. This is what they wanted.

Well, after Theo's performance on Sunday he obviously thought he'd have no chance of starting ahead of him.

Just a thought all this haggling over a fee for Mustafi, £30m for Xhaka??? Is that value? I'm not too sure it will be.

So the rumour about Jose Jimenez from Atletico for 40 million quid, is utter bollocks as well.
