De bruyne is a bottle job and I have said that for a long, long time - when they were in the last few minutes tonight and badly needing a goal, that c.unt took himself away from the action and hid back in the right back spot (sagna was pushed forward ahead of him ffs  ). I have rarely seen him step up in the big games, and those are the days that separate the truly world class players from the rest

Speaking of world class talent, sterling ( ) is the most over-priced piece of shit that I have ever, ever seen (and yes I include andy carroll, pogba and all the rest in that) Five minutes to go and he had a chance to whip in a dangerous cross as he wasn't even under pressure - of course the useless c.unt hits it so high and long, that it almost hit the linesman on the other wing before it bounced

There was a point where Sterling was in the box and had a chance to cut the ball back to Sergio Aguero (also in the box) but Sterling couldn't make his mind up what to do, eventually he does square it to Aguero, but the ball bounces TWICE before it reaches Aguero.

Think about that. No more than a few yard away. Literally no pace on the ball to Sergio. It was a ridiculously wimpy effeminate pass, had he just put his side-foot through the ball with pace, Aguero scores an easy goal.

The only thing de Bruyne managed to do was give away several stupid free kicks (including for the decisive goal) and woefully overhit a couple of dead ball chances.

Just doesn't perform often enough for me to justify this huge reputation he has.

David Silva has been in decline for a few years now. Still a good player but not good enough to build a team around and shouldn't be starting every week especially alongside de Bruyne.

Pep is like Wenger. Stubborn, arrogant, believe in themselves so much they will persist with their tactics despite constant set backs.

As for Pep's trophies, well he didnt do anything at Barcelona or Bayern that other managers didnt do. Enrique won the treble just like Pep, and Hyneckes won the CL which Pep never did. This says Pep wasnt that important to both clubs. Pep is being found out at Man City without the qaulty he enjoyed at Barce/Bayern. He either reinvents himself, or he flops around like a fish out of water like Wenger. You reckon Man City will put up with repetitive seasons even with 'Pep' as manager? No fuking way. Yet we Arsenal fans are expected to support Wenger's groundhog day fuck ups.

City have unlimited buying power with their petrol money and they start that game last night with a back 5 of - Caballero, Sagna, Stones, Kolorov and Clichy.

JESUS FUCKING WEPT

Clichy - didn't we declare him shit around 9 years ago?

Caballero is an absolute shit keeper bettered only by Bravo.

Stones cost 50 million quid, as I said last year before the transfer - the biggest swindle in the history of the sport!

Sagna - a top player in his day, which was about 5 years ago.

Kolorov - lots of tattoos, fuck all ability.

Watch them brown hole us at Wembley either way 8)

Does make me chuckle when I see Sagna and Clichy tacked onto the list of 'players who left Arsenal to win trophies'.

Big Sagna fan and one of our only defenders over the last decade who gave us consistently reliable performances. But fuck me he was a lame duck when we sold him on 3 years ago. Too slow and too scared to even try and skin anyone.

Clichy is shit. Always has been. Incredibly naive defensively (especially positionally) and hasn't done anything going forward in his entire career.

I can remember them putting in one decent cross between them in over a decade combined playing every week.

Beggars belief that they were signed in the first place frankly but to still be starting now?

Well, in fairness to Wenger, he is the only reason Leicester won the PL after all. :barscarf: :dancingbanana: :fryingpan:

Glad you finished that paragraph the way you did - I was about to light you up, mate.  It was amazing the way Sagna went from being one of our best players to one of the worst in the PL.

But I would question your assertion about "one decent cross". :rubchin:

I don't recall it...

I have to agree that Pep is turning into the new Wenger. A purple patch at Barca aided by some of the greatest players in the world seems to have caused him to believe he can try anything his ego wants. The difference is he is not at a club where he will be able to spin failure into triumph and blame everyone else.

Isnt it amazing that pep's successes with barca, are constantly belittled with quips about the players he had available to him, but yet wenger is given great credit for the success he had with his early teams ?

Btw pep won 2 champs league's and (so far) Enrique has won only 1 - the credit Enrique has been given has come largely off the back of pep's all conquering teams 8)
