THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Appalling thing to say. Wenger and his team seem to be really digging in and don't seem to give a s**t about the fans.
They keep having sly digs at us, yet the AKBs will still defend.

Sooner they are gone the better.

For fuck sake. This has really demoralised me. I thought we were starting to have a real effect on his decision but now i'm resigned to 2 more years of this fucking fraud.

That interview above is a great example of how NOT to build bridges with the fans. This guy has very rarely, if ever, spoken out in public and when he does he calls the fans ungrateful.

Given the current situation I imagine Arsenal PR will not be happy with what was said there.

Just got to keep ramping up the protests and hope it gets to Wenger enough to get him to walk away.

The problem is Kroenke...

The only reason he hasn't taken more than £3m is because there was a lot of moaning about it and he was testing the water, with the new TV money coming in on next years accounts he will be itching to take money, I hope he does as well so we can get a proper protest going against this rat.

I was Wenger out since 2008, very few believed me then, do we have to do another 9 years of Kroenke to see him for what he is as well?, I despair!.
One of the problems we have is Kroenke. Just a quick summary of how much Kroenke has made so far out of Arsenal Holdings PLC...

On 11 April 2011 he bought Fiszman and Lady Nina's shares, and became majority shareholder of Arsenal Holdings.

The estimate for how much he paid for his 41,698 shares is £420 million. ( I won't bore anyone with how/why, it just is, plus/minus a few million )

If he sold all his shares today at the current share price, which is 17k, he would make £285 million
https://markets.ft.com/data/equities/te ... ?s=AFC:ISD

So, as of TODAY, he is already 285 million quid up!

TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE MILLION POUNDS, STERLING.

Wenger and Boro, a couple of right *word censored*
Boro Primorac wrote:“Arsenal’s strength in the past 20 years has been Wenger. It is not all about results, but also the business part of the club that matters.”
Well, if "results" were better then surely the fucking "business part of the club" would also increase proportionately.

I'm "guessing" that a proper run in the Champions League or a Premier League win would help the share price and make the fans happy.

Rocket science it is NOT!

Those comments should double the donations. Unbelievable - Why do the f*cking coaching staff need to worry about the business side? This is why this club is going nowhere with Dear Leader in charge. There is no accountability. It is like the sporting side is distant second to the business.

I've got to add that this was posted on Arseblog who publicly poo poos the idea of protest - blah blah blah, but wants a manager change while his hand is in the f*cking till. I am sick to death with these so-called journalists who decided to write books, so they feel that they have no option, but to temper any criticism with bollocks. Rather than saying things how they are, they resort to hoping that Wenger will do the right thing. F*ck those journalists and Wenger acolytes

Depressing.. :banghead:

And as for being ungrateful, why don't you f**k off as well Boro, I wonder what you are paid to be another of Wenger's yes men?.

I can't get angry about these stories anymore and I can't wait for the day it all blows up in their faces.

According to Bloomberg the share price is 17.25k as of now...
https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/AFC:PZ

So he has just made £10Million from my original estimate of how much Kroenke would earn at the share price of 17k.

P.S. Wenger does NOT own any club shares.

P.P.S. Share prices can rise or fall.

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't the share value based largely on what Kroenke/Usmanov are prepared to pay for the very few remaining shares available?
Of course, plus others who would be interested. A company is worth a lot even if there are only two main shareholders. - see below in other words :?

Fiszman’s untimely death was the game changer as he was forced to offload his shares to Kroenke. I think he would’ve played the waiting game otherwise. Bracewell-Smith then followed suit and in my opinion landed the fatal blow . Hope she’s choking on her caviar in Monaco.

Dein being the forward thinker saw what lied ahead and by joining forces with Usmanov helped restore some of the imbalance and prevented Kroenke from having a total monopoly.

As for Usmanov he’s a football fan just like the Ruski and I’m sure enjoys banter with his mates about winning and all that.

No matter how you look at it, there is no way of untangling the current sorry mess until we drive the dinosaur out.

Fiszman was the vindictive c.unt that basically ran DD out of the club and then hopped into bed with kroenke anyway  His "untimely" death had absolutely no effect on the direction the club was going and imo he was a despicable c.unt anyway
