Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Apparently this is our worst league form - four defeats in five - since April 1995 when Stewart Houston was in charge.
And that doesn't even include the two 5-1 defeats in Europe.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Contract's signed, of this I have no doubt. No way this lying parasite walks away from £8m quid p/a.
Obviously cannot be announced now as there'd be a fucking meltdown.

Definitely. He has to wait until a politically convenient moment.officepest wrote:Contract's signed, of this I have no doubt. No way this lying parasite walks away from £8m quid p/a.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
He's not going to find one. Not one person in the media that I've seen thinks he should stay and things will only get worse this season. Look how it ends - Stoke and Spurs away, United and Everton home. Not a lot of points coming there. Plus two games against City before then. Plus Southampton away likely to be in there somewhere.Offside wrote:Definitely. He has to wait until a politically convenient moment.officepest wrote:Contract's signed, of this I have no doubt. It's difficult to see us winning any games away from home frankly.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If this board has allowed Wenger to sign the contract extension after the recent run of results, they should be the focus of the supporters anger as there has been a dereliction of duty on an obscene scale.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I think they offered it well before our recent bad form, if he has signed it already then they better hope he agrees to tear it up, otherwise they are going to look even more stupid than they already do.Nos89 wrote:If this board has allowed Wenger to sign the contract extension after the recent run of results, they should be the focus of the supporters anger as there has been a dereliction of duty on an obscene scale.

Going to bed. Hopefully to wake up to some good news. Sunday Supplement should be interesting, hopefully with journos prepared to call it. Interesting day, should surely be the start of the end!

This club is like a helpless hospital patient in the hands of a quack doctor performing one botched operation after the other.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If this *word censored* thinks he's staying whether it's one year or one day or one minute longer than his current contract then there should be full-on action. That means walk-outs, disruptions, pit h invasions after the match or during it whatever it takes.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Last May, Wenger said his contract issue wouldn't be a distraction. I get the feeling that if/when he signs the new deal, he'll insinuate that it was a distraction. As Kevin Whitcher rightly said:
He’s become like an online troll switching his argument just to get a reaction
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Its sacrilegious if he stays.
For him to sign a new contract, and by doing so signal that he is the man this clubs needs, would mean he has no shame.
He has no goodwill among the fans, media or even opponents. Everyone can see it, yet for some reason there is still a chance he stays.

Not even the 'c' word would be enough to describe these pitiful men.Blade wrote:
