Transfer Rumours Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I really think we need to stop conceding and thats the priority IMO. Outscoring oppo doesnt win you trophies, but defensive players Wenger FFS

SURELY the traore loan move means we must have a new left back coming in.

We definitely do need a new striker as well, if RVP is out we're fucked!
Zarate was the guy who was on loan at Birmingham isn't he? Didn't do anything there either?

The funny thing is, we have been heavily linked with three CB's and all three clubs/managers have made noises to the press that suggest that a decent bid would indeed get the player - Everton are shafted money wise and say they have to sell to buy, Coyle mentions No bids for Cahill in almost every interview and Hughton keeps saying no bids for Dann.

Another day goes by another day we sign no-one, I can only see Wenger making 2 or 3 panic buys with a day or two to go and they will be cheap French/Africans. We could be in serious trouble this season.

Allegedly

The Radisson in manchester is outside the airport, the guy he was talking to came from a london flight and was carrying a load of paperwork. The man who took the photo put two and two together.

Unfortunately years of negligence has led us to the point where pretty much every area of the team (besides gk imo) needs urgent strengthening. It makes no sense distinguishing between them, if we strengthen our defence and do nothing about our lack of quality depth up front we wont win trophies and vice versa.

In an ideal world i would like us to sign two strikers (provided we can offload bender) and switch to a 2 striker formation, although that is unrealistic for this transfer window.
