As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Say it ain't so.
Ha fucking ha.
The winner takes it all, eh Arsene !!?!!
How are you enjoying Western Australia mate?
Meh. Can't say that I'm actually enjoying it Naki, mate.
I can say that I am fucking loving it mate. What a fucking, bloody great idea it was to come to a truly wonderful, beautiful, diverse country that is Australia.
Everything here is 100% better than ol' Blighty.
I ain't going back there mate, I tells ya.
My lifestyle has changed immeasurably, in almost two months.
I play footy again. I train U10 y/o with me bruv, girls included in the team, and they're as good as the boys.
Been fishing, I cycle everywhere. Although the winters here are harsh, I have managed to sunbathe 5 out of 7 days.
The Sheila's are more like Kylie than I could imagine.
Full of bleedin' crims, but hey ho, it's a small price to pay.
Jeez there is touting yourself about and whoring yourself about but this fella seems to have his metaphorical arse stuck in the air just pleading for somebody, anybody, to buy him Why the fcuk would he want to go to the chavs and sign for the guy that undervalued and underplayed him last season ? Is this another cesar case where the player wants to sign for us and is trying to push us into action by leaking chavs interest ?
This silence is deafening, Sanogo excepted, have we fucking signed any bastard yet?
The longer we sit with our metaphorical thumb up our arse, then the longer us waiting for a-g-e-s before we start offering piss-poor fees for players in an effort to get them cheaper becomes moot, because they'll be no-one left to sign.
Cue bare-faced lies from the heirachy about how "no-one was available", "we tried to sign x,y,z" or "we already have internal solutions".
I wish to great creeping Jesus I were an AKB, because this interminable bullshit every fucking summer is starting to have a detrimental affect on my mental health.

if that does happen it will be the worst summer ever,no signings and a big slap in the face too,i hate to say it but if it becomes a reality I wont be wishing us any luck at all next season,id want us mid table so that the bell end in charge is finally made to look the complete *word censored* that he is,he has gone mad

The fanatical arch-zealots in cult Wanger will blame anything & everything else if we did finish mid-table though, with nary a harsh word directed at our very own Reverend Moon.
Thing is, we will continue to scrape 4th as long as we rake in the Chump's League coin.
I don't even want to contemplate Cesc going to Utd, too distressing. Thank fuck the cricket's on.
In today's Sun Wenger says if cesc was available we would have an interest in him as we have 1st option if he's available but the info he has is tht cesc will stay in barca for at least 1more year

Yeah going to work with Mourinho again would be a bit strange.
Understand his frustration though - he clearly wants to move, Madrid aren't desperate to keep him but he's stuck between us and our snail-paced penny-pinching and Perez, who is more interested in posturing and dick-measuring than running a football club.
Although I actually believe he wants to come to Arsenal reality is he's going to take the first option he gets - be it us, Napoli or whoever else agrees a fee with Madrid.
Thing with Higuain is it does seem we agreed everything and then Real have tried to stiff us for a lot more. Doesn't excuse us, but you can tell why the clubs don't like each other.

But Cesc wants to join them it looks like. So it wont matter a flying Diaby about our clause.

I don't buy that a fee was agreed - think that suggesting that Real have reneged on a deal is just a convenient method for the papers who were reporting it as their 'scoop' to backtrack without losing too much face. I do agree that Madrid are taking the piss a bit though - doesn't seem to me like it's a simple case of them giving a valuation off the bat and us not meeting it. Guess it's the sort of posturing and politics you expect from the president of the club when there's not really been any managerial guidance for the most part.
Also how do you figure that it looks like Fabregas wants to join United? Not seen any quotes at all suggesting that, in fact the only reports that go beyond speculation insist that he wants to stay at Barcelona.
Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain is a key target for Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis as he prepares to reinvest the funds generated by Edinson Cavani's sale to Paris St Germain.
De Laurentiis, who on Tuesday night expressed his disappointment Uruguayan striker Cavani had opted to leave Italy, tempered the news by revealing he has now made 124.5million euros (£108m) available to new coach Rafael Benitez in the current transfer window.
Cavani moved to the Parc des Princes for 64.5m euros (£56m) and a chunk of that fee could now be paid to Real for their wantaway Argentinian forward Higuain, who has also been linked with Premier League club Arsenal.
Quoted in La Repubblica Sport, De Laurentiis admitted in a question and answer session with fans on his official Twitter account that he is pursuing Higuain, his Madrid team-mate Raul Albiol and Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.
He said: "It's true that we're negotiating for Gonzalo Higuain and Leandro Damiao.
"The money we got for Cavani was 64.5mil and added to the 60mil we had set aside for the transfer budget there will be 124.5mil to carefully invest on Napoli.
"There are various names on the table, we're assessing the situation.
"(Albiol) is undergoing medical tests and we hope he passes them."
Napoli have already signed Belgian winger Dries Mertens from PSV Eindhoven and Real striker Jose Callejon as Benitez plots another Serie A title challenge, after the Partenopei finished second to Juventus under Walter Mazzarri last season.
The Bianconeri have not been resting on their laurels, however, adding prolific duo Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente to their frontline in recent weeks.
"Is there an area of the team where we're better than Juventus?" De Laurentiis added. "It's too early to tell.
"Are we targeting the Scudetto or a Champions League semi-final? We're always aiming for the maximum and we'll be competitive both in Italy and in Europe.
"Benitez was an excellent appointment and the new boys are settling in."
Some cheap old shit from Ligues 1 & 2 might come in (on 31 August when we're already 5 points off the lead)
Who the fuck said Rooney, Cesc or Fellaini are coming? The only ones we've made bids for are Higuain and Suarez. Stop talking shit.
Erm... the media. And a ridiculous number of Arsenal fans if you typed in any of their names on Twitter at the right point.
Thanks for pointing that out mate......I thought it was pretty apparent but diddums there was obviously one of the conned masses believing that Higuain was a done deal when the reality of life is that the club haven't even made a bid for him. All very well people being wise after the event but a couple of weeks ago many a journo and many a Gooner were declaring how he was over in London and that a medical was imminent
If people choose to believe that There's Only One Arsehole Wenker will ever spend more than £20m on a player (plus £150k+ per week wages) that's fine....but don't get all bent out of shape when those of us that can see through this constant drivel remind us of what the reality is.
