Only last week the Express were reporting he had told the players he was leaving....so I think like most on here we wouldn't wipe our arses with that flip flopping rag...OneBardGooner wrote:from BBC Website:

Sadly and Angrily I can see this happening, the cun.t will cling on for one more massive pay check - claiming how he is doing it so there can be a smooth transition![]()

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Would it not make sense for the club to wait until the season is over to announce it. At that stage, there will be no games to protest at, and by August, fans will just get on with it. If they are stupid enough to announce it before that, then expect the protests to get bigger.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Here's the link to the tripe from the Sunday supplement.

Absolutely revolting is the suggestion that the club is sitting idle and completely incapable of planning anything until Wenger has told them his decision. Gazidis for one is certainly not sitting on his hands waiting for this fraud to set the agenda.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
This bunch of posers don't even have the ability to draw games.I see a draw perhaps at home to City, draw against West Ham
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
It would be very naive of them if they did that. The toxic atmosphere is not going to go away next season. People remember chavs collapsing last season but the rot set in the season before in their last run of fixtures.BFG4 wrote:Would it not make sense for the club to wait until the season is over to announce it. Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Certainly is tripe, a good compromise lol, I think they are totally out of touch with how toxic the atmosphere is getting from their press box, another year for Wenger to 'redeem' himself, what utter bs, the players have lost respect for him as well as the majority of the fan base now, if he stays another year I expect us to finish in a similar position to GG's last season (12th) next season.General wrote:Here's the link to the tripe from the Sunday supplement.

The board need to get off their backside and find a replacement, they should have been looking since last May ffs.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Yep it would be naive. The again isn't that exactly what we would expect from them?.General wrote:It would be very naive of them if they did that. They make £105m from match day from you fans.MATCHDAY REVENUE- Money earned from ticket sales, food and hospitality relating to the football clubs. This is generally money earned from fans of the football club.
Oh btw, don't get emotionally involved this is our play-thing/toy why are you so personally involved anyway?
Thank you very much -now f***k off.

*sigh* the disrespect the man shows, he says he's made his mind up but won't say? why is that then? the nerve of the bloke. shamelessly taking another 8m even though we have made it clear we don't want him. he is holding us to fucking ransom here.
depressing knowing that we have another season of his shit excuses and apathetic management yet before he decides to call it a day. that's a whole season of "we want you to stay" from oppo fans every time we lose, a whole other season of people taking the piss out of the aftv mongs, another season of talkshite taking the piss, 4th place jokes, shit defending and embarrassing defeats. i can see why frank fucked off to charlton

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
If he signs the contract, everything that transpires is his fault. Everybody has told him the sane decision is to step down, there is only so far you can push people before they lash out and react. We're on the brink now. If he says he's leaving, things cool down. If he has the bravery to sign the contract even if for 1 more year. Then he deserves everything he will get for that selfish decision.
He is a disgusting piece of work, I loathe the sight of this man. The utter contempt he has for fans is incredible.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger probably is playing games - all he cares about is everybody knowing that it's his decision and he'll do whatever the fuck he pleases. Reminding everyone of that was the whole point of his comments yesterday.
The board will offer him a deal whatever happens so we are still reliant on him finally deciding that it's just not worth the hassle any more.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Also fucking ludicrous to hear not having a plan in place is a reason not to get rid of him.
By that logic nobody should ever sack a manager on less than 12 months notice.

I see "Look What happened To" United are above us now, with a domestic cup already in the bag and odds on to add a European trophy in May. Be careful what you wish for though. We could end up like them if Wenger goes
