THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

after we lose to City Wenger wil say " we lacked bit of sharpness today, it is not right to focus on my contract today, what is important is that we focus on the team. I will be working 24 hours a day to prepare the team for West Ham. we can discuss the contract after that match..."

Haha - As I predicted he is focusing on the team.
this morning in the press conference he said
"I believe the priority in life is to focus on what is important. Not to look for excuses. The results aren’t going as we want.
The priority is on the pitch"

Asked if he had anything to say about his future, the 67-year-old said: “Not today, but I am very clear in my mind. It is a subject that is not sorted completely.”

so when he said he would announce "soon" he meant "one day" and that one day will be when he decides....probably after all the ST holders have renewed again.

He also says that Sanchez and Ozil want to stay at Arsenal,so that's them off then, just like Nasri,Fabregas, and RVP stayed.
He further states that the team will have to show their mental strength for Sundays game,5-0 to Citeh then. :banghead:
