Absolute farce....

he is waiting for his first win before saying anything....
Think the board pull the trigger and announce he's signed after the West Ham game. After that it will be 21 days until the next home game and they will feel they can ride out the storm until then. Anything other than a defeat Wednesday and they'll announce :banghead:

Yes think you are right there....fucking ridiculous disrespectful way to treat the fans, i know but will tell you soon???

I just can't see how they can announce it before the end of the season.
imagine he signs on Wednesday evening we then have 2 tough away fixtures at teams battling to avoid relegation, a cup SF which we have little chance of winning, a home match v the Champions, who have just hit form, a NL derby where we will get battered and then look who rolls into town - Jose Mourinho...

if he signs there will just be more people on the protests, and add in that run of matches where we will be struggling to win any, it will be full blown anarchy by the beginning of next month! :box:

I believe the deadline for club level renewals is this Wednesday, I doubt they will announce until they have counted the money.

Sagna's turn...another one who abandoned the project in the hope of winning something. I bet if Wenger headed over to whatever club they were playing at they would take off like their arse was on fire.

I'm surprised that so many are surprised by these bullshit statements. Ok, this doesn't excuse or explain our ex players who are no longer in the game, but those that are, like Clichy and Sagna are probably being encouraged by their clubs to come out with this bollocks. If you were involved with City, you'd want Wenger to stay at Arsenal, because it removes a potential rival. Probably why Guardiola came out with the top four is a trophy nonsense, if indeed he did.

Likewise the pundits, commentators and journos. They all support football teams and if the team ain't Arsenal, they'll be desperate for the Fraud to stay. I think I've said on here before, that Lineker is a prime example. He's always hated The Arsenal and has openly ridiculed Wenger over the years on motd, but surprise, surprise, he defends him now ! Likewise Gary Neville....why would he want to risk a quality replacement, who can get us competing, coming in ??

I've said before, if I were a journo, I'd have been pleading the case for more time (years in fact), for Juande Ramos, Christian Gross, David Moyes, Roy Hodgson etc etc.

Ignore this bollocks.

Ps. I suppose it's also possible that the regime had wired a few bob to Sagna and Clichy's Caymen Island accounts !!

It's not that I'm surprised at their bullshit comments, but I am surprised at why a journalist would ask an ex-player that is currently playing for our rivals, if he thinks that wenker should be allowed stay - is it not obvious that all the players at citeeh, chavski, scum etc. would want wenker to stay as manager at AFC ? Havent the meeja picked up that the fans of all these clubs continually sign about wanting wenker to stay, cos they recognize that it would be in their clubs best interest for wenker to stay ? Do they expect the players to want something that will have a negative affect on their own chances of success ?

feeling really down in the dumps about the whole situation today, had a crap weekend anyway and last night was confronted with some pictures on Facebook of good friends of mine father, son and daughter that ive known for 30 years or so,all Arsenal people for life,we used to go to highbury together in the late 80's and up to 98 ,well they'd had one of those corperate bollox days at the eimirates yesterday, got to meet Pat Rice and David O'Leary etc etc,i posted that ' I hope you told them wenger has to go' one of the replies was 'behave yourself Mark' at this point I thought it was a wind up so I replied that fact,i then got bombarded with all the usual AKB lines of 'who do you get to replace him' 'hes built the club' etc etc.to say I was disappointed with their comments was an understatement especially their dad whos supported Arsenal since the 50's and is a proper Arsenal man or so I thought.it really does show that there is a long fight ahead before the majority of mongs in the emirates realise they are simply there to line the clubs pocket rather then see us win a league title,i fucking give up :(

Membership renewals 2016/17 opened on the 3rd May 2016, and closed on the 3rd June 2016.

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archiv ... 7-now-open

I'm guessing it'll be the same this year, if the Memberships last exactly a year.

So one month from now they'll be open for renewal.
