Any sanction for not having one for the last decade?
Stat on today's paper says Arsenal's actual captain has started something like 86 out of the last 280 games...in other words Arsenal's captains have been injured for 2/3 of all games in that period.
By totally devaluing the once great, proud role of the Arsenal captain he increased his own off field power and tightened his death grip on the club. That's dictatorship 101 right there.

Nobody to question him, nobody to challenge or overrule him on the field.

Wonder who'll wear the armband tonight? Tim nice but dim Walcott or Sir Flicks a Lot would be ideal. Someone beige anyway, fuck knows there's enough to choose from

I like back-heels and I can-not lie

Yes, but surely not backheels straight into touch, or to the opposition's star striker ?! :D

Wenger has eroded the captaincy over many years and giving the armband to clowns like Gallas, Almunia etc was a disgrace.

But the one that really sticks in my mind was when Walcott trotted out with the armband at home to Chelsea because it was some sort of anniversary, club captain Mertesacker grinning behind him.

Imagine telling Adams or Vieira that they had to give up the captaincy for a massive game like that for some completely trivial reason - they would have knocked your fucking head off.

Also remember from that game Chamberlain coming off the bench when we were behind, and literally running straight onto the pitch and patting Fabregas on the back with a stupid grin on his face as though he was hacking about down the park with his mates.

Afraid so. Arteta was crocked for the majority of that time, then the armband was handed to Herr Fanny Flaps who didn't even make it through pre season and hasn't started since returning to the squad......therefore November 22nd 2014 is where we're at.

The comment about how only a control freak would be prepared to enter into a new contract against a backdrop of negativity and pessimism is spot on.

It looks like the board are going to ride out of the storm and then make an announcement at the end of the season. Sadly Le fraud will win the power struggle against Gazidis if he delivers another 4th place finish.

Being pedantic, a couple of minor factual errors :proudtosay:, that is bang on the money. Sums up how I've seen it for the last fucking 10 years. Pity we can't get that article on a bleedin' banner !

I feel you chose well, rodders. 8) To use "piss flaps" might have come across as a bit "salty" on your behalf.

"Herr Vinegar Fish" would possibly have worked there too... :rubchin:

This is the kind of thing that is allowed to happen and flourish when you have afuckin' IDIOT as a manager and floaty wanky snowflakes as players:

From BBC Website:

Theo Walcott showed off his new boots with the names of his two sons inscribed on the side.

And Walcott's team-mate Mesut Ozil enlisted his dog to show off his new book.

I fuckin' give up - Truly..I mean.. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
