Don't know anything about this Carzola bloke, but it sounds like a typical Wenger signing (prey on the weak defenceless poorer/club in financial difficulties club but moan like crazy when same happens to us)

I do think we need a wide man as all our other wide players (with the possible exception of Walcott), look more at home in the centre of the park. Trying to think of good wide players at Arsenal and not sure I could think of any definites apart from Reyes maybe?

With regards to M'Vila, I have no problem if Wenger doesn't think he is the right man for the job, but the excuse "If Diaby and Wilshere are fit we don't need him" is an absolute travesty. When exactly are they fit? We're still not sure we will see Wilshere this side of Chirstmas/if at all and Diaby is crocked (if he was a racehorse, he would have been put to sleep by now)

He's not far off. Have you ever watched him play? He's brill. If not for Iniesta he'd be a regular in the Spanish side.

Not only have I seen him play 1989, but I can almost guarantee that I've seen more of him and for a longer period than you have - otherwise why would I make the comments I did? Now if we sign him he might well in time end up proving to be a great buy but as things stand now he's nowhere near the class of Cesc or Silva and, more importantly, not the kind of signing we are in desperate need of for the present.
