Its not that the players are horrible, its just they have been badly managed they cannot find a platform to compete on. Compare us to Chelsea for instance. Their big two is Costa and Hazard, our big two is Ozil and Sanchez. They have Pedro, Willian, Moses as wide players, we have Chamberlain, Walcott, Welbeck, Perez. Is their 'big two' and selection if wide players so much better than ours? Look at Chelsea's backline - Azpilicueta, Luiz, Cahill and Alonso. FFS I couldnt believe they brought Luiz back, I thought Cahill was well past it, and Alonso spent last season on loan at Sunderland. Chelsea though are organized and defend as a unit. Their shape slides when the other team moves the ball sideways, they push up together, and drop together. Chelsea are organized, disciplined, and high standards are enforced. Whilst under Wenger, there is no organization, our shape is often non-existent, and we dont have a manager or captain strong enough to enforce high standards across the squad.

Ty from AFTV and other feckless idiots keep saying 'its not the manager, its the players'. However, the reality is, it is the manager, not the players. As if Conte, Pep, Klopp or Jose got their hands on this team, they would have enough to work with to compete for the title. And if Wenger went to manage Chelsea................they wouldn't win jack shit.

The bottom line is that wenker could be given a 500 million transfer kitty this summer and it still wont make an iota of a difference cos -

(a) he doesn't know how to set up a team regardless of what players he has
(b) all across the world players will be very aware that wenker's rep is done for good, and this so called attraction of playing for him will no longer exist and will be more of a reason to reject joining us
(c) every player in the world will know of the civil war surrounding the club nowadays. They will all know that this rebellion is focused on wenker, and they will realise that giving the manager a new contract is likely to cause even more trouble with the fans, and no player will want to play in that kind of environment.

The club generated any money 'given' to Wanger not Kroenke, as you say his failing is that he has allowed Wenger to continue, yet some people can't see the fault in this and just blame OGL?!, he should have been sacked years ago but our effective owner is more interested in buying ranches and moving his US sports teams around like chess pieces than what goes on at Arsenal on the field, as long as Arsen makes a profit all is well in his mind, and didn't we win that football English cup thing a few years ago?, what are are our 'customers' moaning about!!?.

:banghead:

Wanger is like the bodyguard/henchman in a Bond film, the real villan is Silent Stan the club killer, I bet he even has a white cat that sits on his lap whilst he sits in his office plotting on world dom... err actually more like just buying another f**king ranch.

Phil Babb and Russell Osman are now on SSN.. Giving their opinion on all things Arsenal and Wenger... Talking cliches as you can imagine, nothing new to offer to the debate. Yet they are given air-time to say it. Seems it is only Arsenal fans who want change who are not suppose to offer an opinion..
Guy from AST on SSN earlier, really sounded wishy washy, no disrespect to him but he again offered nothing except soundbites and the result of their survey..

I'm sorry but I will not agree with you lumping manninger and reyes into that list os useless c.unts - manninger was the difference when we need him in that 98 double winning season, and was cast aside by le cock who preferred a fast declining player who should have been moved on. Reyes could and should have been a star for us, but again was badly treated by henry whose clout in the dressing room led to reyes being marginalised

Wilson.

Absolutely agree with you.

The are never prepared for the individual players they will face. i.e Robben cutting in and shooting with his LF [Monreal was shocked!]or Dawson at corners or even that shitebag Townsend nicking in-front of defenders.

Zero preparation on immediate opps.

Yeah,Reyes could have been so much more for us.He gave up on EPL after being wacked by the Neville tag team.

Manniger became more and more flaky especially during big games when we needed him to stand tall.

Gotta love the old "dont go to games, its your falt, you're lining their pockets" mantra from people who dont go to games anyway.

Just another easy excuse to do nothing.

Theres too many not prepared to do that. Also theres people who still want Wenger in. And theres lots of day trippers and corporates

Ive a better idea....What about you actually go to games and protest? Oh yea forgot. You dont go to games.

Agree 1,000% on Manninger and Reyes both were excellent players with oodles of Potential to become top of their profession - Wenger has never been any good at choosing Goalies - I mean just look at the likes of Almunia & the gobby pole....as for Henry he seemed to take an instant dis-like to Reyes who sadly was conned by that radio prog and that lead to him being shunned by many fans....

Wenger has a history of turning potentially very good players to shyte in a matter of months:

Walcott ( I knowww) showed potential as did The Ox, s did Callum Chambers, Holding, - I mean FFS Bellerin was excellent and suddenly has become Awful....there is one constant in all of that list "Wenger" and I for one really do not think it is a co-incidence. Even the gobby pole made leaps & bounds at Brentford? :? (pun intended) he came back to Arsenal from being on loan and turned into the arrogant gobby shyte who was a worthy impersonator of all that is not good in an aspiring goalie.

Wenger spunked away 90 million last summer on absolute dross, why anyone would want to put 200 million into the hands of that deranged lunatic is beyond me.
