Potentially big news IF true, because it demonstrates 2 things - 1. Arsenal are now a classless shitty little club and 2. The board must be split on what to do with Wenger.

I increasingly don't think Wenger will last until the end of the season but we will see...

Initially I thought that was great news, but the more I think about it the less I feel that way - if wenker was going at the end of the season, wouldn't it be slightly easier to sit through these embarrassing performances knowing that they are soon coming to an end ? If however you know that he will be staying, frustration must take over when you recognize that we have two more years of this shit ahead of us
That being said, the more the likes of chips and gazidas back away from supporting wenker, the more it will isolate the French c.unt and when it goes tits up again next season, kroenke will have no allies when it comes to blame sharing for keeping him as manager

There is a lot of activity going on behind the scenes right now - 2 Arsenal shares have sold at a record price in recent days - pushing the value of the club up to about £1.2 billion

Kroenke is therefore sitting on an increasingly huge profit. So will he sell? No because apparently he wants to use the value of Arsenal as a guarantee to take out a massive £1 billion loan to fund the building of a new stadium for his new LA American football team

I don't know what all this means...but it looks unlikely that Kroenke is going anywhere anytime soon, and in that case he won't be sacking his shield, Arsenal Wenger....oh shit...you know what I reckon Wenger is just holding out for a fucking pay rise

We have won 13 league titles which is only bested by Man United and Liverpool.

Even before the Wenger era, we had a golden period in the George Graham era,

When I came to England in 1972 we had won the League 8 times.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Everton were on 7
The rest of London had combined 3

We had won the F.A. Cup 4 times.
Manchester United had 3
Liverpool had 1
I can't remember how many the rest of London had at that time.

Man United had the European Cup, George Best, and the plane crash, but we were comfortably the biggest Club in the South, and had got a European Trophy as well ( I believe the rest of London also had a few )

The Board let us down by not investing even then, and then sold the Club to an arsehole and let the biggest arsehole carry on running the Club at 4th level.

Exactly right. I have been saying this for ages - Wenger has downgraded and talked down Arsenal for years in order to make himself look good. He wants to be seen as a manager who is managing a 'West ham esq' club who is doing phenomenal just by getting us in the top 4. The sad thing is, it has worked. This is evident when pundits like Gary Neville defend Wenger from the fans criticism, by suggesting us Arsenal fans shouldn't have the same expectations as Man City, Chelsea or Man United. Why Gary, why shouldnt Arsenal fans have the same expectations as Chelsea fans? It wouldnt be, that the bar needs to be lowered in order for Wenger to clear it, in order to make the argument for his position at the club?

We are a big club. We generate the most match day revenue in the world. we have the second largest stadium in the premier league. We have won 13 league titles which is only bested by Man United and Liverpool. Even before the Wenger era, we had a golden period in the George Graham era, were in 8 years Graham won only slightly less than the amount of trophies Wenger won in 22 years. Yet despite all this, Wenger, and the media play this game were Arsenal are not a big club, and that 'top 4' is a monumental achievement and we should be thankful to Wenger.
