Totally agree...yes not a world beater, tries hard and works hard...all this Le Chapman stuff?!Paul Smith wrote:That's fair enough, football's all about opinions - but in my opinion as long as a player's trying he don't deserve to get slagged.franksav63 wrote:He can try all he wants, he ain't quality and he isn't worth anywhere near the 12 million that Wenger spunked on him. A brace against shit sides won't cut it either, he doesn't do anything against the quality sides.Paul Smith wrote:franksav63 wrote:Yeah, let's give him a year to 'adapt'Paul Smith wrote:Giroud's doing alright - he hasn't set the world alight, but he's doing well. Got a lot to learn though, don't think you can write him off yet.
Although I won't be forgiving him for that miss at SB any time soon, unless he scores a hat trick at the lane.![]()
That's down to Wenger aint it? You seen much of his attitude that gives off the impression he's not trying? Cos i haven't
Re: BRIGHTON FA CUP THREAD
He is getting paid 60k a week and is complete ***** at his profession (which we are funding), we have the right to slag him off. I wouldn't boo him just yet, though. Sure that'll come in time, though.

Am as pissed off with AFC as you.....but give him some slack. How many has he scored this year?N1Goon wrote:He is getting paid 60k a week and is complete ***** at his profession (which we are funding), we have the right to slag him off. Re: BRIGHTON FA CUP THREAD
complete what? He was under immense pressure to score his goal for us and yet he has shown signs he is starting to adapt, he gets into dangerous positions and he deserves credit for scoring 8 league goals when people like yourself said he wouldn't score that many in the whole season. He works hard for us and genuinely wants to succeed, not to mention he was top scorer in france last season. He is obviously not shit, and you are quite obviously a fucking moron.N1Goon wrote:He is getting paid 60k a week and is complete ***** at his profession (which we are funding), we have the right to slag him off. Re: BRIGHTON FA CUP THREAD
He has 11 goals and could still hit 20 in his first season in England . Some people longer to adapt to our game , Pires ,TH 14 and even DB10 took a while to get up and running .Henry Norris 1913 wrote:complete what? Re: Olivier Giroud and Alan Smith
I still love Giroud

Re: BRIGHTON FA CUP THREAD
And he's scored less than £2m Michu. What the f++k does that matter? He's also scored more goals than £35m Andy Carroll, £24m Darren Bent but less than £7m Demba Ba and cost f++k all Rickie Lambert.Lee1 wrote:Bang on shu....he might not be a world beater but, imo, never seen him not put a shift in. What does any of that prove other than some expensive players are having a shit season and some cheaper ones are having a good season.

Re: Olivier Giroud and Alan Smith
He only scores when the game is already won apparently
11 goals, 9 assists in his first half season. Yep, what a flop, should have kept Park.
