As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Was reading gooner eds article on yesterdays match and find it quite unbelievable that they flew from luton to norwich a flying time of 14 mins overpaid pampered prima donnas the majority of them not fit to wear the shirt.Mannone our no1 (who wenger wanted to sell in the summer but no other club wanted him )the forehead an absolute waste of space,Ramsey i wouldnt have him anywhere near the 1st team(how long are we going to blame it on his injury)TV5 a disaster waiting to happen(Fell over yesterday to gift the ball to holt, who should have buried it past the GK instead of trying to chip it)Norwich 1 of the worst sides in the league and we made them look like world beaters.Wenger will be offered a new contract probably to about 2017 and anybody who thinks he wont is deluded.Wenger out PR BULLSHITTER IVAN out and take that other *word censored* Kronke with them.Once the holy grail of 4th place is achieved(which as stevo mentioned we will sacrifice the fa cup the 1 chance of silverware we have to achieve 4th) as a famous saying on here all will be rosy in the wenger garden, money in the bank thts the only trophy we are going to be winning soon. Why (besides the money) we ever want to qualify for the cl that we have no chance ever of winning is beyond me,a few seasons out of it and then you can be damn sure there would be big changes at arseanal.Sick like every one on here at whats happening to this club, yet ill sit down next sat looking for a stream to watch us huff and puff against the might of QPR because of my love of arsenal.
PS sorry for the lack of paragraphs my anger took over.
oh I knew that - had to get the train to Cambridge then on to Norwich
had first class tickets but there was no effing 1st class on the train
standing room only on the Cambridge train - early train cancelled, tried to get rail replacement bus to Cambridge
35 mins queuing later I just got off it and walked 5 mins back to the station
wish I'd got a flight from Luton, team did the right thing
but that journey home would have felt like 5 mins if we won, even if Gnabry had stolen a draw...
not watched highlights - was Holt offside? looks it on the vid above...
and the Gnabry slipped in through ball for Gervinho looked great live, did he take forever to shoot (what it felt like live) or was it just good defending to close him and block the shot...?
WTF do our players fall over more than the oppositions? what is that about

Santos played him onside - lack of training and discipline in the back four? Mind you, I think Andre's belly was in line with the CB's and it was his arse that played Holt onside.
When Manure are behind in a game it's like the charge of the Light Brigade; players flying forward, crosses, shots, tackles ... players undoubtedly terrified of facing Fergie afterwards. Our lot seemed to think that continuing the same lethargic shit that had got them nowhere for threequarters of the game was OK.
One of the most dispiriting performances I can remember seeing. Still, I was hugely encouraged by the sight of my favourite lazy, fat Russian midget coming on. Reminder that things can always get worse.
yep - can I be the first to shoot glitch down on this
bang
it moves fine, he's a goalie he should save it and hold it
its an error, a bad one, and it cost us a point
obviously our 3 tragic forwards not looking like scoring v Norwich is just as bad

we were terrible - but I saw equally bad performances from ManUre in the CL and UEFA last season
Basel and Bilbao ripped them to shreds
I'm not so sure the goal was Mannone's fault in all honesty. Would have been really good to hold on to that. The problem with the goal was the lack of closing down, which brings me on to the wider game. For some reason for the past few seasons we just seem to play these games in a different manner.
When we play the big sides we chase, close down players, work hard as a team to stop shots on goal etc. but we seem to think that's not necessary against the likes of Norwich. And then we repeatedly get our fingers burnt.
Like previous posters have alluded to, we should blitzkrieg these sides early on and batter them into submission in the first 10 minutes, it sets the tone for the whole game.
It's really infuriating.
we used to have games over in the tunnel
and destroy people in 5 mins - was it Charlton who we scored 3 against and then the camera pans to the clock and its 3.05
seems a long time ago...
Defending Mannone for the goal, I've heard it all now. The ball hardly fucking moves, it swerves a little, and guess what at this level that is going to happen every week when someone connects properly with a shot. Firm hands and an awareness to push it wide or into areas where it doesn't hurt are what separates a League One keeper from a top class one.
Its not just the goal either. Look at his position when Turner flashed the header wide and in the second half when Holt was unmarked at the far post from the left wing cross. He's the master of the yes, no, maybe approach to coming out and dealing with basic crosses
If we want to make lame excuses for the bloke fine. I'll just keep totting up the points dropped caused by his individual errors. Ask Barnsley or Hull fans if they think he's anything to write home about by the way
