Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
We knew that it would not be long before QPR's Loic Remy was linked to someone and now it seems that the Daily Mirror think that Arsenal could be that club.
Many eyebrows were raised when the forward signed for the R's in January and it seemed that a combination of the wages on offer and also the chance to use QPR as a stepping stone for a better move proved to be the selling point for the 26-year-old.
The French international will almost certainly leave Loftus Road if the club are relegated – something that is looking a certainty now and the release clause in Remy’s contract looks set to be activated. Given that Arsenal are looking to bring in several new faces in the summer it seems a move for the £8 million rated player may well be on the cards.
Arsenal of course have been linked to a whole host of forwards, defenders and keepers and it seems that an entirely new starting eleven could be made from a week’s worth of rumours alone. The Remy rumour does have some merit to it however and given the way Remy has fitted into the Premier League so far, a move to a bigger club could propel the forward onto even greater levels.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD
Sagna will be sold and one of our better players, probably Cazorla, will become the subject of transfer rumours and interest from buying clubs that will probably see him move on somewhere the following year.
A no mark from Toulouse will join and we'll spend the end of the window desperately trying to offload all the shit that nobody wants to buy e.g. Bendy, Djourou, Chamakh

I think Bendy will find it hard finding a club to agree to his terms. The guy thinks he's Messi

A handful I believe. Don't think he's scored yet.Top Londoner wrote: Has mary-anne made an appearance for shammers btw?

And let's get Villa for left wing, it was said that Barca is looking for a new striker so Villa must be avaliable?
Also the rumours about Wenger sending an offer to Götze and his reaction was like this:
BVB players are jokeing while riding with the BVB team bus about headlines they are target from Arsenal. Playing for Arsenal these days means they are not better off as a professionell football player. They are making fun about players who are connected to Wenger because they are at the end of the football fantasy, they are the rest of the best.
sorry for that

Please keep fingers crossed for todays CL game against Malaga.

Re: SUMMER TRANSFER THREAD

anyway last summer I thought we needed a striker, backup goalie and a leftback
luckily the board and management saw those problems dipped into the market and made everything OK
by signing Nacho and nobody else
now we just need two strikers and backup goalie
oh and to replace any players we lose...
The only established top Prem player we have (obv Santi is god, but new) is Sagna
his contract is running down and if the club he supports (PSG) will treble his wages I doubt he'll want to stay
personally I actually would accept Jenks/Bellerin as our 2 RBs,
thoughts?

I'm well aware of that as a huge fan of the Bundesliga and German football. I was referring to their perceived lack of a sense of humour (which is also false)highburyJD wrote:Even?
