you do realise if we drew the home leg 0-0 we would have lost tonight by at least a three nil margin?

how naive are some of our fans, no wonder wenger has tenure :rubchin:

walcott useless again. cazorla played out of position when we really could have used him in the middle. the back 4 and fabby were outstanding for once. i think the pair or mertesaker and kos is our best pairing.

the refs were absolutely awful. i mean awful to the point where me and my room mates were literally questioning the integrity of the crew. i wouldnt be surprised if 5 years from now this is one of those games a police investigation finds cheating refs in connection with some gambling ring. the offsides call on walcott? the numerous bad calls against us, yellows on us for them diving? 3 minutes of stoppage time for 5 subs, a goal that took 3 mins alone to restart, and numerous yellows and time wasting? the opposite of fergie time.
A few years ago, I worked with a man who was otherwise fairly sane and intelligent who claimed to have studied years of matches in European Cups and Champions Leagues and had found evidence of a Masonic plot/ agreement to ensure only a select group of teams ever won the European Cup. He also pointed out that whenever a less favoured side won a big match against one of the 'luvvies' the ref and linesmen very rarely got to do another important game again. Now, looking at some things over the last however many years, there have been so many awful refereeing decisions, dodgy penalties, bookings and sendings off that alarm bells might ring. On top of that are the small unnoticeable ones like stopping play in the middle of the pitch when a team is about to break or fiddling the injury times.

I'm not saying that the ref was on the take tonight because quite frankly, when you lose 3-1 at home, you need to be Pele, Messi, Van Basten, Bergkamp, Maradona et al to get through but it just jogged my memory of this bloke.

Manny without wishing to get in some long winded fight about it, most people are p****d off because it's glorious failure once again, the team turns up only when it's almost mission impossible. Why couldn't they have done this 2 weeks ago the we would be in the hat on friday.

It's the same sh*t every year. We want them to turn up from the start to the end of the season. If the crap performances were one offs then we would be ahead of dross like the one man team that is the scum and the chavs.

No one remembers nearly men and we have been nearly men for too long and it's become acceptable. This club is better than that and it might be time for someone who can instill in the players that glorious failure is still FAILURE.

I thought the main positive from tonight was the defence. Bayern playing with the handbrake on or not they performed well and even Mertesacker who I regularly slate on here was excellent.

Is it just me or was Giroud, his goal aside, like playing with a man down at times? Every time the ball was launched forward he either lost the header, didnt jump or gave away a foul by pushing/manhandling the centrebacks. His first touch was woeful and I thought he let the side down, culminating in that ridiculous shot from 45 yards that went flying over the bar, his trademark look to the heavens with men in space all around him.

The fact remains we are still out and it does nothing to alter my Wenger Out stance. Over the piece we were not good enough and that is all it will say in the history books.

We were not disgraced tonight but it was all a bit too late in the tie.

Explain yourself instead of leaving a ridiculous reply
Typical instant reaction of a moron, no more explanation required!
Come here mate don't call me a moron. It's my f**king opinion and if you can't handle that then don't bother to comment on it at all.

You probably don't even realise who's really coming across as the moron here
Believe me I do! (And others do as well.) You are entitled to your opinion, but when it's as stupid as that, then you have to accept criticism. It's just my opinion after all.
Aye mate that's your opinion and I except that but when your opinion comes across like you should explain instead of turning to insults.

Best you fuck off to bed before your mummy finds you. You're a moron of the highest order. If you despise the team that much why not fuck off to the team you like? Shut up you dick.

Anyone else notice how Alexis Sanchez runs through and puts the ball into the net long after the ref has blown last night and he doesn't even get booked. In the same stadium that Van Judas was booked for the exact same thing and sent off. :? :rubchin:
