Groundhog summer transfer window thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsenal may move for Getafe's Romania striker Ciprian Marica as they look for alternatives to Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Aston Villa's Christian Benteke. (Mail on Sunday)

Admit it though, it was fucking hilarious having him and Red posting on here. Baba labelling everyone as 'Arsene's little helpers' and Red longing for the return of Djourou and Denilson........ahh, those were the days :D

Seen a good bit of him in la liga over the past few months and there is no doubt that he is a very good player and a real handful for opposition defences. That being said, I would suggest that his temperament in the premier league could be an issue - he likes a sly kick here and there but is also known to like a dive or two and in this league he would be lambasted for that

Maybe, but the cannibal would be more of a poacher than costa is, plus suarez would be a harder worker (which in itself is no disgrace cos suarez does work exceptionally hard for his team)
