The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I've warned you about this once before, Rodders. :banghead:

If you ask for permission ever again I'm banning you for life. :x

Carte blanche it is so. Has anybody any requests?

Linked to Sanchez again in the Mail.

Would people be happy if we get BOTH Sanchez and Vela? We would be great going forward. Pace, trickery, skill, movement, goals.

----------------Vela---------------
Sanchez-------Özil--------Walcott

Podolski would have to go though as can't see him staying with them two coming in.

I come if sanchez comes.

I would like to see some power in midfield though. Theo, Ozil and Sanchez aren't exactly the group to tough it out at stoke are they.

WTF is this, people getting worked up over imaginary events now? I can guarantee you Ferdinand won't be within a mile from the Grove this summer.
Perish the thought

Duck-face is way over the hill but we all know Arsene's fond of offering biddies one last payday. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he joins our treatment table. Mortified, but not surprised.

Don't forget he also copped the Most Points for Calendar Year Trophy as well.

There's more chance of Ferdinand coming in than Sanchez or any other 'top' player.
Can't believe people are talking about 'big' signings. Won't happen in a million years. On the 30th August or whenever the window closes, we'll sign a couple of relative unknowns for peanuts and a hugely overrated and overly expensive Frenchman (as Wonga puts more money back into French football).

Arseole Wonga must have problems signing a cheque for his electric bill, let alone buying anyone decent.

Can't say I saw this bombshell coming at any stage during the summer.
Arsenal have opened preliminary talks with Toulouse over a £7 million move for defender Serge Aurier

I'm getting a tad worried. UTD wont have UEFA cup next season and will have a completely new side. Chelsea are getting a free 30m thanks to Barcelona and David Luiz. Mourinho is also going to get his strong centreforward he jerks off to.

Di Maria is a lightweight f**ker that'll get tossed around like a rag doll by any half decent FB in our league. Thanks but no thanks. If Real are flogging players then Alonso can still do a job in our midfield.

A midfield 2 of Alonso-Rambo would be what the norvern monkeys call BOSS
