The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

World cup record goalscorer doesn't 'suit' the world class super special awesome LOLzil's game. Sounds about right.

About Klose's record, don't think he'd have caught Muller without useless Saudi Arabia. Didn't they gift him about a 3rd of that record.

Rvp and Rooney do not work together.
Read Db's book and his time in Italy was a complete disaster because of the way he was expected to play and with the striker being an Insight type,no movement just goal hanging. One quick move to London later and the rest is history.

Özil's form with us declined about the same time as Wally's and Rambo's injury.

He stil had the 4th highest assist record in the league despite his only out ball being Giroud for 75% of the season.

I think the record 100pts may have had something to do with Cristiano Ronaldo. Ozil always seemed to get subbed at the 70min mark.

Which is why Ladyboy bemoaned his chief provider being sold or are you honestly saying the goals were only scored after the 70min.

No offence but you're are starting to sound like a WUM, especially with that Denilson comment.

Ozil league assists.
2011/2012...17 assists.
2012/2013...26 assists.
But Real Madrid had mobile strikers who could finish FFS!!

Ospina to sign??.
I thought we had already signed him 5 times for the virtual team :rubchin:

Still not sure- think we need a near to retirement keeper, who will both add to Chez'es knowledge, maintain his confidence yet provide back up if ever needed. Ospina wont provide much of that, and a good keeper will get edgy if not getting regular outings, disruption potential to the squad pretty high.

Chez was great last season, joint golden glove wasnt he?

The supremely talented Nicky B has turned down the opportunity to join Eintract Frankfurt because those pesky Germans had the bare faced cheek to only offer him a just over 30k a week(£1.6million) a year.

The search goes on for a club worthy of the Danish Ibrahimovic. :barscarf:
