As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Today is the day of the flip-flop, when fans just forget the shit show of the last few months and suddenly laude Wenger, for bringing us to another cup final. As I said on the protest thread, why are fans ever angry at Wenger, when they only judge him based on the FA cup.
What was that horse shit in his interview? When asked something along the lines of did we need that after coming through a traumatic run he said "someday I will speak about that" as if the cluster fuck of the past few months has been all the result of a hidden conspiracy rather than down to him

We won't beat Chelsea so this result is a disaster for the WoB. I just love our fans...lose to Palace players get dogs abuse, beat City and Wenger gets all the credit.
I don't think today will make an iota of difference to whether he stays or goes.
The board will undoubtedly still leave the offer open even if we lose every remaining game 5-0. Wenger will stay if he wants to, even if we lose every remaining game 5-0. Neither of them needed a win today.
Wenger has seen the protests and he knows what will happen in all likelihood if he stays next year, regardless of what the result was today. His interviews are an endless stream of shit but what is clear is that he is a stubborn prick who has made his mind up.
The bloke is an Arsenal legend and will always be my favourite player. There will never be another like him.
He is an awful pundit and the biggest flip-flopper, so I just completely ignore anything that comes out of his mouth and remember him smashing in goal after goal.

Well actually - "7th in the League & Arsenal fans are going nuts with joy at reaching final of a 2nd tier trophy.
Shows how far we've fallen.
Get a grip".

If Wenger signing the contract is in any way connected to anything that happens on the pitch (and thats debatable) then I think today will make a massive difference to him signing. I expect our results in the league will now pick up just as those of others (Liverpool, City and maybe Spurs) go the other way.
And the toxic atmosphere we needed at games (especially at the Emirates) to make Wenger's position untenable now has no chance of happening while the race for the precious top 4 is on
Even if Wenger will stay regardless of results ... he will still use any positive to justify staying at the club.
Today is Wigan 2014 all over again. That game made the difference then.

Haha yeah that was a fantastic El Clasico! .... and the winner with the very last kick of the game!

And always a pleasure to see C. Ronaldo's pissed off face

Agreed. Ronaldo is absolutely amazing but Messi is a cut above.
So, 2nd in PL last season + now a 3rd FA Cup final in 4 years: those poor, poor Arsenal fans suffering thru living hell under Arsene Wenger
Mongs retweeting, AKBs creaming themselves, the rest of us being called ungrateful fickle arsewipes and Wenger on the edge of a new contract extension.
