THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This is the end of Arsene Wenger.
Please god let this be true. Can't someone just start a rumour on twitter saying that he's resigned just to give me 2 minutes of hope?
all it usually takes is one Journo asking "will you stay til the end of the season Arsene"

anyone putting cash on the Villa press conference being done by SB ?
The ego maniac won't let that happen. I hope the press but his balls in the vice at that conference and fucking SQUEEZE

Its a sad state of affairs ... we have become a laughing stock and the media are playing us for their own paper sales.. once a great manager, but having toed the party line because of those pricks up top .. now well we've become the team everyone is taking piss out of.. and wenger is allowing it to happen ... sad decline ... club and manager ...

AKB on 5Live saying Wenger has no money to spend! Even the show host is getting pissed off with him!

Yep. Listening to it. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Even the neutral 5Live are grilling Wenger and Arsenal, they have had enough of this bull-shit from callers! Our wage bill is higher then Bayern Munich's!

But, but he has won the FA cup more times in his 16 years in England than any other manager. :banghead:
Nope. As I pointed out yesterday, Ferguson's won it more times (five, to Wenger's four).

He won it before le c unt face came here mate.
Wenger was talking about during his time here, not before.
Mines a snakebite, thanks.

FACT. :rubchin:
I'm not debating the fact that one of Ferguson's wins came before AW arrived. I'm saying that AW didn't say that in his interview yesterday.

Highbury Harold ‏@BlackScarfAFC

The “IN ARSENE WE TRUST” flag isn’t on show tonight. Can’t ever remember seeing it missing.

The longest trophy drought since the 1960s. Eight seasons and counting. Thanks Arsene. It's hilarious to look back at all his hubristic statements about how he was developing a young team that would grow together and go on and achieve domination.

I woke up with hope, turn on DM, and no news of Wenker quit. :'(
But they did say that 82% wants him gone based on poll here, so I guess someone is reading our posts and quotes them to DM :)
