SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

United have put 2nd bid in for Cesc mmmmmmm wonder what our response will be :rubchin:

http://www.sportinglife.com/football/tr ... bregas-bid

Looks like 1st bid was rejected but told to make a higher offer if you want him not looking good makes Cesc feel unwanted at Barca and if we don't bid I can see him in a United shirt Cesc and JVP up there enough to make you  and

Still full O' Shite '89 !

I spoke last week with people physically close to wenger on a day to day basis but are as close to his mind as the sun is to pluto ............but perhaps have a warmer relationship , they are confident that we will struggle to find anyone who will come for less than the 20 mill prof either has or wishes to spend.

More important and this seems almost evident is that he is pruning the books best he can, in order to make 1 big signing but cannot or will not do it until some of the dross has been removed from the bottom line !

Some shit has shifted ,we shall see live action after they return from Japan where unlike Alphaville we are Big !

Anyone who claims to be "In The Know" on Twatter should be dragged out into the middle of a field and shot dead

Agreed.

I assume these people who lie about such things to gain followers and attention were bullied at school.

GeoffArsenal is though. Came out with news yesterday that Monreal is out with a back injury and the Mirror just caught on.

Not disagreeing with that comment but torres strikes me as the type of player that has to be the main man and needs to feel the love and he was never likely to get that with the chavs. Of course you can argue that suggests a lack of backbone in the guy and tbh we do have too many guys like that already - still think that he has a few good years left in him mind

He's not everyone's cup of tea but I think he's genuine. Wasn't he the one who claimed Santi and Monreal were joining before anyone else got wind of it? Also pretty much always on the money when it comes to team line ups, injuries, etc.

I'd love to know when Geoff Arsenal and all the other "in the know" morons are going to update us on Higuain's medical which seems to have been running for 3 weeks now

They know fuck all but prey off those that think they do
