Coming home earlier that pair on Talksport were having a right go at Wenger. That giggler & the other one...I think it was the other one, was questioning if Stoke were not on the beach??...Why do the journo's just sit there and not ask a follow up question??.....That Wenger said we will finish on 75 points, higher than last season..who cares you are still miles behind the leaders??...And Arsene how do you think you have managed to scrape into 4th every season??... It's precisely because all those teams were on the beach that's why.

Can't really take much of the bloke but well said. Funnily enough the same 2 who interviewed Poulter yesterday...they should have shot him down in flames as well.

So Poulter, the Arsenal supporting GOLFER, opines that Wenger should stay on for a time and be the one to pick his successor. Ah ha's and approving noises coming from the interviewers. The FIRST thing I would have asked after that crap came out of his mouth would have been WHY????

Pick his successor?? WHY??

2nd question - what qualifies you to give an opinion or judge the reaction of fans ?

3rd question - have you in any way benefitted from access behind the scenes to the players etc. and does that privilege cloud your ability to make a
rational judgement ?
4th question - do you think that maybe you should perhaps try winning a golf major (or any golf tournament for that matter), instead of spending
your time slating the fans who spend a lot of cash supporting the club ?
That's a brilliant interview technique...ask someone their opinion on something and then when you don't agree with their answer tell them they aren't qualified to give an opinion!!

You need to try to understand that every interviewer doesn't share the exact same viewpoints as you

But surely if they have any integrity at all, they should challenge something like that, politely with courtesy whatever, but still challenge it?

But he's asked for his opinion and that's what he has given? Why challenge him on his opinion?

Tbh I have had a similar feeling, thinking we might nick it by the odd goal, but 3-0 or 3-1 !!!!!  Fuck me....NURSE !!!

Anyway, I did have a feeling that we just might nick a win, but I then thought about the chances of stopping them scoring more than we do (assuming we score at all !) and I realised that it just ain't gonna happen. They'll score as and when they need to.

2-0 Chelsea.

He's entitled to give his opinion on whether the manager should stay or go cos that was the question he was asked, but of course he decided to use the opportunity to have a pop at the fans who pay money supporting their club week in and week out. Who the fcuk asked him what he thought about the protests, and again who the fcuk is he that he feels entitled to sit up high and judge the fans ?
Not surprised that you are backing him cos you have history yourself for condemning those who have openly campaigned against wenker  :censored:

Well, I think they call it interesting debate. If a guy being interviewed expresses an opinion as requested, I'd like to know the reasons behind that opinion and especially when the whole world knows what a contentious issue Wenger In / Out is. They obviously asked him about it because it's a hot topic, so let's hear his justification, not just a possibly groundless opinion....who does he think he is, Arsene Wenger ?!!

It's a win win though really?.

1. We beat Chelsea deny them the double and win 'a trophy'.

2. We lose and are neither in the CL or win a trophy and embarrass Wenger again making it harder than ever for the board to offer him a new deal.

We'll that is with a positive spin on I suppose..
