That was my mate. She's fine, and thanks for your concern, just got checked out by the St John's Ambulance people and got a black eye. You didn't see who kicked it did you? We were both reading the programme when it happened!Andrei says Shhhhh wrote:I left the ground last in a state of shock at one of the worst double standard refereeing display i've ever seen.
Songs's two cards were a fucking joke,
Just after he was sent off Wilshire bursts through the middle and was blatantly chopped down on the edge of the box and he didnt even pull out the card.
The ref was overweight, struggled to keep up with the play and would have played till midnight until they got an equaliser.
On a more positive note Koscelny was outstanding, Almunia looked far more assured and was good to see a lot of the gooners get behind him.
Oh and best wishes to the female gooner who got smacked full in the face by the ball during the pre match shooting practice, She took one full pelt in the face and looked in some distress.

i saw your pal get hit bt, looked a right sore one, hope she's alright. don't think i've seen so many gooners get hurt as i did yesterday ( see earlier post). i'll check with my son tomorrow morning he'll remember who's shot it was, think it might have been denilson although they were all missing the goal in the warm up, bit like the game
Ah-ha, those Brazilian ankles! We thought it might have been Eboue as he was larking about beforehand.
Yep, Gooner Sam, that was her and me with her. Amazing the force of it and she had her eyes open when it hit her. I had to check she wasn't concussed all night. But she was just shocked more than anything and still managed to to watch the game (she refused further treatment in case she missed it) and drink all evening.
All the stewards and St John's guys were newcastle fans!

Not surprised to hear that, the *word censored* can't do anything right with a ball.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Was Denilson.....he put his hand up afterwardsBT wrote:That was my mate. To be fair, i'd be more than happy with Denilson if he can hit a few of the scum's faces in the crowd at the lane..1989 wrote:Not surprised to hear that, the c**t can't do anything right with a ball.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Was Denilson.....he put his hand up afterwardsBT wrote:That was my mate. Credit to Fabianski as well as he looked very concerned about what had happened.
We were being peppered by wayward shots all the way through the warm up. Was starting to wonder if the players had a bet going to see how many fans they could take out.
Glad to hear your mate was ok.

Why would anyone want to be a steward at another club? I couldnt stand being surrounded by scum fans every other week, gives me the shivers just thinking about itDB10GOONER wrote:Bit like a few of our stewards being swampers that!BT wrote:Ah-ha, those Brazilian ankles! I think some of them do it to be able to piss off oppo fans with a bit of authority behind them. Simple minded wankers.flash gunner wrote:Why would anyone want to be a steward at another club?DB10GOONER wrote:Bit like a few of our stewards being swampers that!BT wrote:Ah-ha, those Brazilian ankles!
