As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hopefully Arshavin will find some form in the next few weeks without Nasri and credit to NB52, usually the 6ft4 lump jumps 6ft3 but today won everything in the air!
Nick is our best target man which is why I hate seeing him out on the wing.

2 years ago exactly this type of situation went against us.I recall the ref saying the 'intention' was to pass even though came off opp.Ref ruled out goal.
Alan Curbs said it was a rubbish decision and highlighted EXACTLY the same Wigan V W Brom last night.

Anyone got JD app record? Is Arsenal unbeaten when ever he plays?
Anybody...?
In the league yes, we're unbeaten and have been since 2008-2009 I believe with big Johan in the side. This season we've lost 3 games overall when he's played (2 in the CL, 1 in the CC).
We were awful in the 1st half, but the hostile atmosphere towards the ref was brilliant, I love it when it gets like that... an important win, and a win that we probably wouldn't have got a few years back.... Sagna also had a brilliant 2nd half.

Arsenal have never lost a carling cup tie in which Carlos Vela has chipped the keeper.

That decision changed the game, had it not happened the crowd wouldn't have got into at all and the players wouldn't have shown the fight and urgency, the game was h3aging that way so it did us a favour.
Ref was shocking, linesman was shocking, we were shocking in the first half, Wenger got his subs and timing right which was shocking and Arshavin turned the game, that was pleasing but shocking.
Just got into work feeling fragile to say the least.
Great game last night, full of controversy and thanks to the ref a real hostile atmosphere at the grove.
Some say he could of cost us the match, but I say that *word censored* won us that match. The crowd was great last night best I have heard in a very long time. Wasn’t just blocks 6/5 , but the whole stadium.
The abuse the ref got was deafening and the players played there hearts out.
Didn’t expect it to be so good last night. Happy times!
Lol love the pic - Superb fight lads - the tosser ref needs to be banned after that hideous decison. After the Everton goal the big screens showed the goal – and of course showed the player several yards offside. There was total uproar in the stadium – everyone was shouting. The players saw it too. The ref went to the linesman and had a long chat with him, and then walked back to the centre for the kick off, indicating a goal.
At half time they showed the “best of the first halfâ€
