Lost 6-2 ! We had 10 men for virtually all but 10 minutes of the game as Frank Sav pulled a bollock muscle 10 minutes in and we had no substitutes. Thank you so much for everybody that turned up. Good to meet you all

Was it special circumstances? Were you a little jaded physically? Did you play with the handbrake on? Or do we have to give credit to the Mackems as they defended very well?

Just about to say I spoke to Rebel and Cork Barry and they were talking of Phibbers. I dont know if this is still closed for Refurbishment or not. Also as we dont have the stone in place yet IMO it would be better to have a proper drink up for Charlie Charlie when we get date of the stone going down and we can work out the closest home game to then. But theres no reason why we still cant meet and have a few drinks and put some names to faces as well.
Are Gus and Wayno at the match tomorrow ? I will be around tomorrow somewhere! I have to collect a ticket at some point and meet up with some mates but Im sure I can fit in a drink or two!!

Chunky can I just say thanks and well done again for organising this game v the mackems 8) One of these days/seasons we are going to beat them and maybe if our version of nutty winterburn lasted longer than the time it takes to boil a kettle

I think that it is fair to say that everybody enjoyed the bit of craic and it was nice to put a few more faces to the names on here. Enjoyed the few drinks afterwards with most of the lads and it was just a pity that two lads who shall remain nameless (ok it was rebs and his dad barry) couldnt join us as it took them over an hour to find their hotel despite frank dropping them a few hundred yards from the front door

Then turned up at the pub four hours later and the next day seemed disappointed we hadn't waited for them!

A pleasure lads. A shame about the result but what can we do they were a lot younger than us and we played most of the game with 10 men as we had no subs and Frank Rosicky at left back  Id love to beat them just once! There was talk of a game against them at their place but like I said yesterday if we cant get 11 for a game in London what chance we got of getting a squad to take to sunderland in February?!
I echo what Augie said and its always good to put faces to the names. Cheers again

Chunky
