If you didnt go then you wouldnt have felt the hurt like they did - yes we all feel hurt. But no more than when you actually go away - give them a break and some respect

Ok lets clear things up.......every week when a lot of us express our frustration and utter shock at how much support wenger gets at the grove we are told that our stadium is full of jcl's nowadays and that our real support goes to away games. We have many diehard Gooners on here that openly proclaim that they will not go to games at the grove and prefer going to away games with real fans. Those two statements are fact so when I bring up the question of how this "real fan" image fits in with the sound of "one arsene wenger" being sung at every single away game then I believe I am quite correct in doing so. I would love to attend away games and I do believe that they are always quite vocal but for me I think this "real fans" tag is bullshit and I will forever cringe when I think of the banner displayed in mancland at the end of the biggest beating in the history of our club

i think the term real fan comes from the travelling and cost to attend away games - i attend 5 or 6 away games a season and the atmosphere is great, much better than the grove - but you can't stop a few hundred out of 3000 singing "One Arsene Wenger". it's up to the individual to join in or not - but our away fans are great

It's probably being sung by the RedAction arseholes anyway, so really it doesn't count...

fucking pony squad. why is it every game we play we walk a tight rope with someone getting a red card?

no discipline or organisation. weak players, weak manager.

roll on may when we end up 6th and wenger can walk

I was at the Cottage and honestly think I only heard 'one arsene wenger' being sung once by a few hundred people, not like everyone was singing it constantly....

Fucked right off. First half we played very well but failure to score a second goal proved fatal.

First half performance was excellent but second half was dismal.

Losing patience rapidly with Arsenal both on and off the pitch.

In recent weeks we have put in poor performances but scraped wins v Everton, Villa and QPR. Then a home draw v Wolves and losing at Fulham.

The answer to our problems: Sign Henry on a two month loan?!!!

It came across loud on the TV when dear leader was running across the pitch before the 2nd half, definitely a few thousand singing it. :banghead:

Got in a while ago, struggling to digest that performance.

Quite a lot were singing 'one Arsene Wenger' before 2nd half. The fans were in good voice but a few things did surprise me.

Why sing Thierry Henry on several occasions?
Why act cocky at 1-0 when we were under so much pressure?

The idiotic few near me doing oles' around the 75th minute, not slating the noise the away fans made but definitely quite a lot around me who hadn't a clue.

Performance wise only Kos came out with any dignity

I'm still laughing at the earlier posts that are linking Wenger's post match comments to some veiled message to the board........

.....he's just a bitter twat, blaming the ref AGAIN, and trying to avoid talking himself into another touchline ban or fine

bang on - thats it quite simply...

but as others have said he aint looking at the deeper problem - the likes of squillaci, djourou, Merteseker are not good enough for our squad!

we do have class defenders in Sagna, Vermaelen and Kos is coming on good. But Santos? (he needs more time), Gibbs has yet to deliver IMO (so also needs more time when back) & i really don't think Jenkinson will ever shape up to the level we need (though would love him to prove me wrong).

So that's 2 of quality, 1 getting there, 3 to ship out - quickly and replace with quality and 3 to give more time to.

But will he get us a defender or 2 in this window and ship out 2 of the 3? will he hell - he thinks we'll all be happy with our ol mate TH coming back to help us sing some fkn songs1

I love TH - but this is the same ploy they used last yr with Lehman and year before with Sol - are we that fkn fickle? i aint are you?
FACT we didn't get two penalty decisions on Saturday. FACT we didn't get two penalty decisions tonight. Wenger may be a lot of things, but on this occasion he is also right!

FACT Sagna, Vermaelen, Santos, Gibbs and Jenkinson are all injured and Djourou was sent off..... Not surprising then that we looked shaky towards the end of tonights match! What team wouldn't?

FACT Lehman and Sol both did a job for us while on short term loans and I expect TH to do the same. No more, no less.

Disappointed that we lost tonight but too many on here jumping on the bandwagon and I for one wonder whether some of you enjoy slating Wenger more than you enjoy supporting Arsenal....

FACT - Ruiz was flagged offside when he was a good yard onside

FACT - the Sunderland player was offside when he scored against City yesterday

FACT - we got a penalty at Villa that many a ref would not have awarded

FACT - referees make mistakes. Get over it

FACT - it doesn't go against Arsenal any more than any other team

the players lost the game today not Wenger

i think a new goalkeeper is essential

Chesney is overrated and increasingly arrogant.
probably because he knows he has no competition for his place

Anyway on a lighter note the best song tonight was..

'He pays tax when he wants, pays tax when he wants, Harry Redknapp pays tax when he wants' :D
