Re: McDowell's Transfer rumour thread
If you don't think Giroud is good enough then that's your opinion, but saying he's one of the worst players in the PL is just plain daft.

Twitter linking us with Michu

Re: McDowell's Transfer rumour thread
bit harsh on giroud their mate i'm not saying he is the greatest but he by far and away the best of a bad bunch and considering our style of play doesnt play to his strength's he's hard a fairly decent start for us. its our lack of depth at the striking position means he gets the bulk load when he needed to be bedded in

Funnily enough I'm certain I heard it last week when at a meeting in Birmingham. I asked some geezer what team he supported and he replied: 'Erm... Villa'.

Don't worry Chippy because it's true. Being a devout 'Spliff Smoking Fundamentalist' it's against my religion.

Demba Ba still has a confirmed buy-out clause of £7.5m, not my first choice but still better than Henry on loan.

As I said, not ideal but it's not like we desperately need somebody to cover for, um, Gervinho is it? Or that our form is likely to dip dramatically during the African Nations - how can it?augie wrote:northbank123 wrote:Demba Ba still has a confirmed buy-out clause of £7.5m, not my first choice but still better than Henry on loan.

Huntelaar and Llorente are both better strikers and lower risk and I'd take them over Ba any day, but it's just another example of how much shit Wenger chats about players that would improve us being impossible to find when we've scored 18 goals in 14 PL matches (taking out comedy hiding vs Southampton) and there's a bloke who's a proven goalscorer and already has 10 PL goals this season in a struggling team available for less than we've paid for Gervinho and not a lot more than what we paid for Park.
Plus, although we're never gonna see the best out of Giroud unless he gets a partner up front, one thing he's clearly not going to do is terrorise defenders with his quick feet and instincts on the floor, Ba would be a great person to feed off his physical ability.

You really are clueless fella, there's far worse than him out there, still, climb aboard the bandwagon and enjoy the anal stretch.....N1Goon wrote:Wengerball wrote:Apparently its been reported on Sky in Germany that Manure have agreed a deal to sign Robert Lewandowski for £12m.
£12m FFS
For the same fee as Giroud/Gervinho, too. Needless to say, Lewandowski is three times the player Giroud is, and several times over for Gervinho (None of the newly promoted teams would take Gervinho or Giroud). I'd rather have Holt, i'd rather have Michu, i'd rather have...zzzzz
Giroud is near the top of my list for worst footballers in the Premier League (inept at multiple core levels of the game). But, needless to say, I should direct my anger at Wenker for signing him.
