It's all about finishing above them for me now! We could finish 10th and will anything change? Doubt it. Get CL spot and keep hold of players/ attract more and hope for the best!donaldo wrote:Just what Gazidis and Wenger want.Fuck trophies its all about that fucking 4th placeBournemouthRED wrote:Boys, calm it.
We're out, we knew that was happening. Same thing happened last yeah and we went on a good run after that. Lets hope we can so the same, IF AND I MEAN IF we can get top 4 and, even better we finish above the scum, I will be fuckinh delighted!!!!
We can beat Bayern but not Bradford and Blackburn.Think about it
Wenger Out
Sadly what else can we do?

Tempers are going to run high on nights like this, but we're all gooners hurting in a different way. As Momma said "Life's a box of chocolates" or some such drivel.

It's the same sh*t every year. We want them to turn up from the start to the end of the season. If the crap performances were one offs then we would be ahead of dross like the one man team that is the scum and the chavs.
No one remembers nearly men and we have been nearly men for too long and it's become acceptable. This club is better than that and it might be time for someone who can instill in the players that glorious failure is still FAILURE.
I would dignify that with a counter insult but here's a better riposte
The team is brilliant, we are always great we have immense netal strength and the best attitude and commitment as these results of the last 8 years show.
Scum 5-1
Wigan 3-2
Scum 4-4
Manure 2-0(FA cup)
Manure 8-2
Manure 3-1(champs league)
Wigan 2-1
Stoke pick a year or a result there's a few to choose from
Villa 2-2
Liverpool 1-1(after taking the lead in the 100th minute or something)
Hull 2-1
Olimpiacos 3-1(pick a year)
There are a lot more that prove we are heading in the right direction under Arsene's fine stewardship since 2006 but we haven't got all night. Me Mam's calling me

I'd have been a lot happier with that performance if we'd been 0-0 or 1-1 after the first leg.
As to the kicking, I'd bet the keepers don't practice it.

uefa and barca are friends.....no ref will do any harm on camp shit against themtopgoon wrote:Perryashburtongroves wrote:A few years ago, I worked with a man who was otherwise fairly sane and intelligent who claimed to have studied years of matches in European Cups and Champions Leagues and had found evidence of a Masonic plot/ agreement to ensure only a select group of teams ever won the European Cup. He also pointed out that whenever a less favoured side won a big match against one of the 'luvvies' the ref and linesmen very rarely got to do another important game again. Now, looking at some things over the last however many years, there have been so many awful refereeing decisions, dodgy penalties, bookings and sendings off that alarm bells might ring. On top of that are the small unnoticeable ones like stopping play in the middle of the pitch when a team is about to break or fiddling the injury times.Yankee_Gooner_Dandee wrote:i counted 9 times in the 2nd half alone where ramsey gave the ball away with terrible passes or terrible dribbling. its no wonder we couldnt string together any passes because one of our midfielders is a black hole.
walcott useless again. cazorla played out of position when we really could have used him in the middle. the back 4 and fabby were outstanding for once. i think the pair or mertesaker and kos is our best pairing.
the refs were absolutely awful. i mean awful to the point where me and my room mates were literally questioning the integrity of the crew. i wouldnt be surprised if 5 years from now this is one of those games a police investigation finds cheating refs in connection with some gambling ring. the offsides call on walcott? the numerous bad calls against us, yellows on us for them diving? 3 minutes of stoppage time for 5 subs, a goal that took 3 mins alone to restart, and numerous yellows and time wasting? the opposite of fergie time.
I'm not saying that the ref was on the take tonight because quite frankly, when you lose 3-1 at home, you need to be Pele, Messi, Van Basten, Bergkamp, Maradona et al to get through but it just jogged my memory of this bloke.
Anyone else notice how Alexis Sanchez runs through and puts the ball into the net long after the ref has blown last night and he doesn't even get booked. In the same stadium that Van Judas was booked for the exact same thing and sent off.![]()

Chuck in Newcastle 4-4, and Bradford and Blackburn this season. If we had beaten both/either of them we could have been in a final. Millwall in the quarters and Wigan in the semi. All we can hope for is tonight instills a bit of confidence and we go on a run and finish 4th. But for what? Unless there is real investment, look forward to season after season of glorious failure!topgoon wrote:Zimgooner wrote:Best you fuck off to bed before your mummy finds you.
