well to be fair - that should have been 6-5, two perfectly good goals ruled out and another two chances nixed by wrong decisions, but it exposed a lot of stuff about us :

1. two goals from Zonal marking and lack of focus.
2. sloppy passing gave away two goals. lack of focus. FFS look up before you pass.
3. no legs left in the last 20 - thats down to squad size and lack of rotation
4. ozil is wonderful on the ball but not quick enough - he is either tired or needs to adjust.
5. we had no one with the pace to man mark Yaya, and even if we did AW doesn't believe in it. GG would of had Flam and Jack rotating on him, kicking him, niggling him, pushing him in the back etc.

so that's it - lack of training, squad size, and tactics.

i'm actually not downhearted though - we had a go, scored three, Walcott looked sharp and TV looked good and actually got forward.

City will leak goals away, and we won't face a team of 4-5 world class players every week plus their lino's.

had we got dicked 4-0/5-0 or 6-0 i would have been distraught , but for some reason i'm not.

i guess i just expected to lose without a fight, but we did try.

Oh! well it was a nice day dream while it lasted - we all knew in our heart of hearts - it was only a matter of time before the second wheel came off the wenger mobile - we will now lose to the chavscum - I wonder if we can get to the quarter finals of the FA cup?....

Wengerball tactics from both sides and Citeh better at it than us.

Interesting - BFG giving Ozil a few harsh words for not going over to the away fans.

Beaten by a much much better team. Although, I must say that Wilshire was poor for the majority and Vermaelen showed everyone why he never gets a look in.

Most teams will get spanked here, but it was how much our shortcomings were exposed which was most worrying, Can't see us holding on to top spot for much longer, the real rest will come when we are once again fighting to stay in the top 4, which this season looks like being tougher than ever.

a few good crosses, one of which was never in a million years offside. monreal had a couple too.

BFG and Kos each made a mistake but the backs played well imho. as did TV.

i think we'll do the chavs.

Wenger clueless.
Felt the same way.

Getting really tired of watching this team actually. Same thing each game; throw a bunch of midfielders out there and hopefully they eventually break the other team down. No real striker, just an oaf target man that wins headers and flicks, never has pace to be released through on goal. Yeah, it works against Hull, Cardiff, and any shit team but not all the other big boys. Especially away from home.

As much as I despise Patrice Evra as a footballer and a person, can anybody argue that it's like watching "men against boys" when we play the likes of Chavs, Citeh and United?

Another game we decide not to turn up for and decide to throw everything out that's been good defensively for the last 3months..

I'm more bothered at the loss of defensive steel in 2 games.. we are never going to score many which
is the only way we will do sh*t away from home at the oilmoney and rouble rich grounds.

As much as I wrote this game off, we gifted them 5goals. Anywhere doing that away from home is suicidal.

The chavs will be top by Monday after our game and will probably stay there. It'll be a long wave goodbye from our manager.9 months worth of goodbye.

Very average from Jack who shouldn't have been tired. Ozil played poorly yet still gets a jammy assist. Gibbs back please, Monreal can only be back up. We are loaded, we need a striker, get one in January please.

Not sure they were wearing blue either. Can also see why their away form suffers. They were panicky with decent crosses in the box and Kompany is quite prone to rash lunges for the ball, and like Lloris he will get found out.

Chavs get a decent striker in January and they'll walk this league.

City are trying the Kevin Keegan let's score loads, defence will sort itself out. Maureen will win the league much as the thought of Terry winning the league makes me sick to my stomach.

And you know hes right.

They were singing are you tottnum in disguise.

Nice to see the flamini haters out slating him today when from my perspective he played well covering for the supposedly more creative players considering jw was playing fkr city and ozil wasnt playing today. We just totally list alk shape or direction when he was subbed

Today was sll about the subs. And wenger just doesnt have a clue
Off to get shitfaced.

Lol - this must be the progress I've been hearing so much about :D

Another classic ass whipping at the hands of a big club under There's Only One.......blah blah the ref......fixture congestion.....more blah blah

Another day of pride to match the 8-2.......hope the banner made it

Just the inevitable Mourinho drubbing to bear before the progress really shows itself for what many of us knew it was I.e a quirk of the fixture list

Further proof that we'll never win a trophy under Le Bumhole......just 3 more years to endure after this one

ONE ARSENE WENGER.......THERE''S ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

Mr Arsenal would be proud of the BFG!!

BFG !! We've got a BFG!!!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I Love you Mert!!! :bowing21: :bowing21: :bowing21:

About time we had a Captain who isn't afraid to bollock his team unlike our ever so gently gently with the players ego's waste of fecking space manager!

Ozil !!!...oi! You walking off the pitch ignoring those who pay your wages!!!!

You earn more money in a week than many of us Gooners do in as many years/decades...WE pay your wages...you ungrateful twat, whilst you are being massaged after the game then ferried in luxury back to london those same Gooners who pay your wages - will have to endure a 5 hour journey back home - knowing the club they love and have supported since childhood lost today because players like YOU Did NOT SHOW UP.

Not sure which game I was watching, but obviously a different one to you lot.

In the game I watched we gave as good as we got and contributed fully to an entertaining game which, although we were always chasing, could have gone either way. City deserved to win - but 3 goal margin was definitely harsh. There were at least 3 incorrect offside decisions, a blatant penalty not given and a very debatable one given at the other end (if there was contact then it was Milner finding Chesney's leg rather than the other way round)... Trouble is that every one of those 5 critical decisions went against us!

Add to that the ridiculous scheduling that meant we travelled back from a tough game in Naples in the early hours of Thursday morning and then play the earliest of the weekend kick offs...

Went into this game with a real fear that we'd be found out - but performance (if not the scoreline!) proves we deserve to be considered as title contenders!!!
