LIVERPOOL AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

David Beckham's got more know how on tic tacs, than this old idiot, he is not defensively mined.
In fact bring in Beckham and we won't win a game

As painful and depressing that was to watch, at the end of the day we've missed out on 3 or 1 point.
The scousers are no better than us, hopefully we will bounce back against the mancs and knock the scousers out of the cup.
When you go a goal down in the first min away to a team like pool, straight away your up against it.

I feel sorry for There's Only One tonight.

He was so close to leading us into another new Arsenal record today. As the commentator scratched around for his stats and discovered that 5-0 equalled our heaviest ever defeat to Liverpool....the blasted Mickeys denied ARSENE another piece of history making by giving us a penalty and not scoring again in 30 mins.

Just the proud 8-2 and 4-4 at Newcastle for our very own record breaker to cling to now

Hopefully we won the singing though.....then I can rest easy. Any sign of the sexy sisters and their banner today?

I have no stats but we seem to lose so many of these early kick offs.

Our pre-match preparation needs looking at; diet, sleep, psychology, warm-up etc.

I feel physically sick.

I think we start most games slowly.

I could be wrong, but maybe the only reason the early kick off games stand out is because we've played some big games, away from home against unforgiving attacks and got thrashed

What about tactic's Quartz? That would help

We were lucky today. It could have been another 8(EIGHT) under Wenger. If we had come off at half time 7 down no one could have complained

When is our clueless :censored: of a manager going to realise you cant play Ozil and Cazorla in the big games away from home. But just you wait and see away to Everton Spuds and Chelsea they will both start.Wenger has to go

A stunning victory for optimism over experience.

Michael Owen is a fucking freeloading mercenary who didn't give a fuck about his football career for the last few years that he was allegedly a player, but now sits and pontificates about the game.He was more nauseating today than normal as he brown-nosed the club he was happy to leave (and later join their bitterest of rivals) for money. He is a nasely , snivelley little pox bottle.
As for Arsenal today, this is what we feared/knew would happen at some stage, it hurts more when it is so inept, where do Arsenal look to in times of trouble ?, where are the tactics and the confidence ?, where are the signings that would have got us over the top of the hill for the run in ? Mr Wenger is to blame and we are going nowhere with him as manager. The Liverpool game next Sunday is the most important because we sure aint going to challenge in the other two competitions. Not much joy today, I did think Ox and Jack came out of it with some credit, and to a lesser degree Gibbs when he came on . There are 97 bad points, one for each minute of the game. The attitude of Ozil appalled me, I know there are cultural differences etc with the leagues he is used to playing in, but he looked like he was going through the motions. Maybe when we demand big signings we should remember he was the biggest and we have not got enough for that . I'm obviously not saying we shouldn't sign players, we should but we must have a manager that can get the best out of them.

And there you have the problem. It is him in so many ways.

When we get shot of wenker, I hope we get in a good experienced manager as a replacement - maybe someone who has over 30 years experience in the game and who has won coach of the decade   :barscarf:

Not much of a consolation but was pleased to see that he didn't come out with the usual excuses for once and admitted Liverpool were better team and we were shit
