Watford (H) | FA Cup R6 | Sunday 13th March 13:30

Inspired by John Cwoss I think I too will knock out a book on Wenker:

Arsene Wenger: Empire of Mediocrity.

Foreword by Falkirk Goon: “Kroenke’s shite, Le Bulbeye’s shite, this book is a big pile of steaming shite”.

Contributions welcome.

At one point today Giroud sprinted (okay, laboured slowly) back 70 yards to tackle one of theirs whilst Coquelin strolled back in the style of Denilson. Was the second time in about 2 minutes that Coq did that. Just fucking strolled back. The cúnt.

Also, for all the fucking 4-5-1 loving Modern Fans out there. You just saw what a flexible 4-4-2 can do to 4-5-1 if you have well drilled players that are willing to work hard.

"Ooh but if you play 4-4-2 against 4-5-1 you will get swamped in midfield!! Oooohhh!!"

Will you fuck.

yet another game where clueless spends the vast majority of the ninety minutes sat on his bench, grumbling into his puffa jacket.

i'm not saying i want a gaffer that spends the whole match bellowing obscenities at his team, but i want a manager who does in game managing. fucking hell even my school football coach did more managing in one game than wenger has the last 7 years

The only time, and I mean the only time, that skinny a$$ lifts out of it's chair is to berate the ref or 4th official.

Of course, mate. Bring a banner and some flip-flops too.

Be prepared to lose all your cushy club privileges though.

85mins of unambitious, ponderous shite followed by 5mins of energy and desire.

Disgraceful.

Time for another "private" team meeting, eh Theo

Well, it had to end sometime... We were piss poor until they went 2 up. Giroud was particularly awful as was Sanchez. Strangely, had Wenger started with same eleven that beat Hull, I reckon we would've won it. But he would've been slaughtered for it. We lost...can concentrate on the league...

As soon as we scored you knew the players would stop pottering about, look interested and start playing with a bit of tempo. The same thing always happens - you can bet if we'd scraped an equaliser against Swansea all of a sudden they wouldn't have been cruising as comfortably as they did. This side gave up after 70 minutes against United and Swansea, and the effort levels today at 2-0 were appalling.

All this talk about mental strength is absolutely ludicrous - the players just aren't interested when the chips are down. When it rains it pours, and our current capitulation (2 PL wins in 9 and a dismal FA Cup exit) is the same thing that happens any year where we haven't played ourselves out of the title race by October.

2008 (FA Cup dicking at Old Trafford preceding 1 win in 8 PL games in Feb/March/April)
2010 (2 wins from our last 7 PL games)
2011 (2 wins from our last 12 PL games as well as not registering a shot at the Nou Camp and a limp FA Cup exit at Old Trafford)
2014 (2 wins in 9 PL games in Feb-April including shipping in 11 at Anfield and Stamford Bridge)
