Re: The Fake News Summer Transfer Thread

Post by OneBardGooner »

So the reminders for the Season Ticket Renewals have been delivered.....Wenger (with Gazidis in tow this year) are seen in the right places to ensure all kinds of rumours to nudge those renewals along - Just has been the tactic these past 8 years (at least), and following the humiliating + £1 for Suarez Wenger continues along his utterly delusional way in the transfer market.

So this season he tries to con the fans yet again with his pathetic and delusional (that word again) offer for Mbappe:

So Man City offer £113 million, then Real Madrid step in with an (all in one advance payment offer) of £117.5million, and so what does Wenger in his tightwad wisdom do? He offers £87 million.

the fool is an embarrassment beyond measure, where is that utterly bewildered emoticon when you need it. :?

He always seemed to put in solid performances, good first touch, decent pace.

Was unable to get in ahead of walcott who only had pace and a huge contract.

I remembers Gnabrys debut v Stoke City - I was sold on that day of his quality. He didnt get game time at West Brom because Pulis didnt know shit. And I knew when he left he would eventually resurface at a top club. Although I didnt expect it to be so soon. In fact, if you check my post history, you will find I have said Gnabry will be our version of Pogba & De Bruyne - two players Man United and Chelsea neglected and lost because of it.

Gnabry will force himself into the Bayern and German first team in years to come, and we will look on in sheer bewilderment, at how Feo managed to keep him out of our team.

He earned that transfer to Bayern - he scored 11 league goals from 27 games from the wing in a team that finished 8th in Germany. To put it into perspective, Robben scored 13 in 26 for Bayern. Im telling you know - Gnabry will be one of the hottest wide players in the world in years to come. He will be a classic German wide player like Muller - massive work rate with incredible efficiency and quality. And we lost him because Wenger is still indulging in Walcott as a top footballer.

Most disappointing thing about Gnarby joining Bayern is that Bayern cannot play Arsenal in February, unless they fuck up in the CL group stages, and Serge won't have the chance to run riot against the Arsenal..

Apparently Giroud has a suitor.............West Ham. Whilst Newcastle are reluctant to raise 12m to buy Gibbs

I wonder, when it comes to Giroud, Walcott, Ramsey, Gibbs ect, does it not give Wenger pause that no top clubs ever show interest. As you said, Bellerin, Ox and Sanchez are genuinely quality as top clubs are banging hard on the door. But Walcott has been here over 10 years and I cannot recall a top club ever making an effort to sign him. Whilst Giroud is apparently available, and yeah, its West Ham showing interest. Although I wonder, does Aaron Ramsey still want to play for Barcelona?

Our Nearly Signed XI has not been up to its usual standard in recent years.....a bit like the real team. We've failed to replace the virtual Drogba and Zlatan as the years have rolled by, and Yaya Toure is just about on his virtual last legs these days. The virtual Ronaldo is still a genius but can't be expected to go on forever.

The virtual Mbappe and Lacazette have big shoes to fill........but I'm virtually 100% behind them

ONE ARSENE WENGER..........THERE'S VIRTUALLY ONLY ONE ARSENE WENGER

Missed a trick there, SteveO... :D

Even the Arsenal scout in Russia has said that!

http://www.football365.com/news/arsenal ... ood-enough

If he is another one for the future then fair enough but not at the expense of bringing in the proven quality we need. And despite what the scout says you know he would be loaned back to the Russian club.

This transfer window is going to be very interesting purely because the club, its cúnt owner, and spineless Board, have all implied that Wenger getting his two year extension is intrinsically tied into an actual "challenge" for the PL title. For that to happen we need to keep Sanchez and Ozil and add 3 or 4 really top class players to the first 11.

The sickening thing is, these cúnts are so brazen they will sell Sanchez and replace him with some piddlingly average Giroud/Welbeck clone... and so many of our fuckpuppet JCL AKB wánker fans will call "$anchez" a "Juda$" and STILL hail Wenger as the right man to manage us. It's all so fucking predictable. :|
