As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Despite the fact that I'm now going to ignore myself, if people contributed to, rather than commented on, this thread, it would probably be fifty pages shorter and a lot less annoying to scan through.
If you don't like this thread, DON'T READ IT, and allow those that do want to fill our empty Summers dreaming that we might actually sign some good players, to peruse, dream and then have our dreams crushed. It's what we do.
in this morning’s Spanish press, AS reveal (Spanish) that late last night a €23m offer for Santi Cazorla arrived in Malaga. From us, just in case you were wondering. They also say that Malaga were all like ‘Nuh-uuuuh’ and pointed to the €45m release clause in his contract, but apparently Arsenal’s offer would cover what they paid for him last summer as well as the money they owe Villarreal (including VAT!).

This thread should only be locked the day we sign Joe Cole

Because I would be generally interested in a thread that contained information from reputable sources who actually knew things that were going on (have contacts etc...). Unfortunately, this sort of thing gets mixed up with the pile of twitter/blog shit, whose only interesting information is actually just lifted from the aformentioned sources. So, to get to the good stuff you have to wade through the steaming pile of manure and outright lies.

Ok this response is more what I had in my head when I complained last night - it isn't that I am against the rumors thread in principle and I do agree that it is far better to keep this thread on the one thread but it is the amount of made up bullshite that gets on my tits Twitter,a milkman or some c**t walking his fcuking dog should not be quoted on this thread because, in my opinion at least, that takes the bullshit to an unacceptable level We know that the papers also make up bullshit but at least they are doing so in an effort to sell their rags and that is more acceptable to me than somebody posting crap on here just to wind up others

Kosh contract extension and our bid for Cazorla really improved my mood. Still I am little skeptical about this Cazorla deal. May be club picked up a target which is no go from the beginning? Similar to the that M'villa rumor before WBA game.

havent heard of any other club linked with MVila or Cazorla
to me the idea the club 'picks up' targets just sounds like paranoid conspiracy theory theyre out to get us nonsense
sure Arsenal would rather all signings could be pure surprises
