The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Currently out of the country so not aware of this so called media frenzy.

My first thought was who the fuck is Lucas Perez ?

Mustafi will probably secure the defence though.....4th place is coming

The AKB'S will cling to this, as proof the guy is world class.

If any good should score 20 in a season with Ozil setting him up, looks mobile so improvement on Giroud
This is what I'm saying. He has basic striker qualities by all accounts which we haven't had with the useless French Donkey and Walnut. Give him consistent service and see what he does, can't be any worse than it is now.
Walcott has pace but unfortunately no football brain...he will never learn that....he is runner not a footballer
With pace and intelligent runs our midfielders particularly Ozil will thrive, soul destroying playing with Giroud as we know making runs is not his game he's a back to goal static hold up lay it off striker.....

Hope he does well....

The frustrating part of the Perez deal is that it's clear it's a panic buy. Wenger was in for Vardy in June, (for £20 million), so when he didn't get him, he could have signed Perez then. Instead he has pissed away two games, and possibly 3, by tomorrow. I hope Perez does well, but if he was an actual target, then this should have been done months ago.

This.
Whether or not these guys turn out to be duds or good players for us, why not give them time to settle pre-season and give us a chance of not being 5 points off top after two games.
Mind you, the German guy was at the euros so couldn't have played anyway

Javier Hernandez would of been a better option.

Also read Mustafi is quiet and not a leader. Great just what we need at the back. :D

You appear to have forgotten we have 11 leaders on the pitch. :-P

Yep, pathetic nobodies who wouldn't even get close to playing for a decent team. It's another horrible, mismanaged, incompetent window of shite. Who the fucking hell are these players and when did this club sell-out to shitness?

Bang on, and as well nobody has taken Walnut to whom he has been offered. I am not surprised on his salary..... :(

Agree totally, these are both poor signings (Perez may prove a cheap buy & good value) but they are not the type of players that would ever win us the league. Agree again these deals should of been done early, especially as Wenger knew the Euros were running this summer & particularly that 3-4 players wouldn't be ready to start the season.

Still I'm with the guy who re-signed from the Arsenal shop Thursday and posted his letter on LinkedIn. Respect to him, NOT Wenger on that topic!!
