THE WENGER THREAD
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Hey guys this is my first post and I actually live in the states but I love this football club. I have been a football fan for the last 10 years and chose Arsenal as my club because I loved their history and style of play. Gradually I have become more frustrated with the club and the way they run things. Being from the states I know Kroenke is a fucktard and I can't stand him. I have never posted on here or joined any discussions because I consider myself an outsider to you guys who live across the pond. Having said all of this I have wanted this Wanker out for the last 4 years because I am tired of getting our asses kicked by the top teams both in League and Champions league play. Seems like we never show up and are always unprepared and look like second class players to the top teams. Also how this fucker never spends any money at all pisses me off. He acts like it is his which leads me to believe like someone said earlier that he makes money on the profits and not spending more than he has to. Well f him and all of these pieces of shit. I will not give them one more dime of my money even though all I can spend it on is shirts and the like. I will continue to be a fan but they will not get my full blown support until they are all gone. I have ancestors from the Brighton area and having read their story about how the fans saved them I am going to be pulling for them to stay up next year. I will give my attention to a group that actually gives a fuck.

What would be the huge difference from what happens now?sk-gtfo wrote:http://news.arseblog.com/2017/05/usmano ... ds-support
Although I'm sure some might use this as spin to promote Kroenke (who knows why?), at least this puts some more pressure on Kroenke and therefore indirectly on Wenger.
I hope Usmanov is in for the long game here, he can feed off the toxicity and use it to his advantage and may one day gain control, even if it seems unlikely at present.
Also if he does sell his stake then I can't see it being to Kroenke, which is of upmost importance, we can't let the cowboy get full control or we really are finished.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
I just mean whilst Usmanov or another similar person (with ambition) has a large % of shares and intention to buy then it keeps the focus on Kroenke to 'back Wenger' with $$$ or in the event that the inevitable happens and we go downhill again over the next 2 years, the fans will start to get really annoyed with Kroenke and generate some bad PR for him and his investment value stops growing.northbank123 wrote:What would be the huge difference from what happens now?sk-gtfo wrote:http://news.arseblog.com/2017/05/usmano ... ds-support

Perhaps this is clutching at straws but I have to hope, otherwise if we're stuck with Stan then we might as well all just turn the lights off on the way out, as he clearly f*cks up anything he touches in a sporting sense.
Re: THE WENGER THREAD
The Old Fraud's contract should have ran out at midnight tonight
I'm disappointed that the statement on the website doesn't specify when his new contract expires (May or June 2019). For what it's worth, I've created a new countdown, assuming his new contract ends on 31 May 2019: https://tinyurl.com/Wenger2019
Just 730 days to go
Until his next renewal

Wenga has spent nearly £100m in the past year and we've actually got worse. We have the 3rd highest net spend over th past 5years after United and City. Our wage bill is just £25m short of the highest which is City's.
It's all here.

Wenger can no longer hide behind the money excuse and has presided over a very expensive decline. It's sickening that he can sign a new contract with a straight face.

I know some people have a problem with DT and AFTV etc, but just for 10 minutes forget it is DT talking, and listen - He speaks 100% Truth and 100% common sense.

Thanks for the welcome and I agree with you. Like I said I have been a longtime reader but never posted because I am a Yankee lol. However I can't hide my anger anymore.

Funny how the so called lack of funds never hurt his contract renewal increases:

Which is the closest Rodders' pecker has got to a pussy in a long time!

Keown saying we should sell Sanchez and Ozil.
Fucking hell this bloke can't lose.

He is correct about Ozil. He almost gave away a cup final on Saturday.northbank123 wrote:Keown saying we should sell Sanchez and Ozil.

I am disappointed that Wenger is staying. If it comes out that Ozil has signed a new contract for £200k plus I will be just as disappointed.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Saw that on the BBC, so lets sell our leading scorer, ignoring the number of assists he got, then remind me how many goals the rest of our strikers managed to score as a group in comparison to him Martin. I'd also be worried that even though Ozil is a luxury player we'd be a much weaker team without him and i'm not convinced anyone else in the squad could step up in his place.northbank123 wrote:Keown saying we should sell Sanchez and Ozil.

Anyone able to enlighten me on what members of our technical team got the bullet today?
This whole cluster fuck was all their fault after all wasn't it?

So what do we all reckon, is Usmanov really happy that Wenger has signed or is he still trying to get AKBs on his side?sk-gtfo wrote:http://news.arseblog.com/2017/05/usmano ... ds-support

Do we reckon he will put in a higher bid or will he disappear until it goes south again (which it will)?
