1989 - Didn't you say something about leaving if Higgy didn't sign?

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?
Would you be satisfied? Unhappy? Rather someone else?
Thoughts please.

Rather Higuain still - Suarez is a better bet in terms of a player but the circus that comes with him and the risk he'll spend a quarter of every season suspended is a pain. I guess it would be us all over if the first world class player we signed since Dennis Bergkamp was also one of the biggest dickheads in the game. Still, we're dying out for quality and I'd prefer Suarez to nobody without a shadow of a doubt, don't feel like we're in a position to turn our noses up at a player of his ability. Just feels like if we're willing to spend £40m+ on a single player then there are other options. And imagine the Mousers' dismay - be nice to sit on the right side of that fence for once.1989 wrote:How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?

If monkey boy is going for £85m, Suarez would be a bargain at £40mil.1989 wrote:How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?

As much as I dont like him as a person, he is a fantastic footballer and would of won player of the year last year, if he never thought he was at steves BBQ when the mickys played the chavs.
Please Wenger just do whats got to be done.
I believe him and another quality signing like fellani could win us the prem.

Disgusted. I don't care how good he is at football, the man is a *word censored* of the highest order.1989 wrote:How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?

Id say Wenger is taking medication somewhere in the, land of the rising sun now to get over the shock of thinking of paying out 40m

Agree with this. Also I may add that with Suarez IMO we would win the league. With Higuain however I see us challenging but not winning it.northbank123 wrote:Rather Higuain still - Suarez is a better bet in terms of a player but the circus that comes with him and the risk he'll spend a quarter of every season suspended is a pain. So was Vieira. Spat at Neil Ruddock, that's worse than biting in my book.Perryashburtongroves wrote:Disgusted. I don't care how good he is at football, the man is a *word censored* of the highest order.1989 wrote:How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?

Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
never mind lads £77 million pounds now when the Klingon goes? if we don't spend it the board can have it in shares
lets face it if we were committed we would of signed higgy & the vampire by now (and cesc to).
this will not happen while we got a yank running our club

And how do we all feel about flying pigs, and the moon being made of cheese, and the aussies chances of winning the last three tests to nick the Ashes, and the scum winning the double this year and...1989 wrote:How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?
