SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How do we all feel about Suarez as a signing then?

Would you be satisfied? Unhappy? Rather someone else?

Thoughts please.

Rather Higuain still - Suarez is a better bet in terms of a player but the circus that comes with him and the risk he'll spend a quarter of every season suspended is a pain. I guess it would be us all over if the first world class player we signed since Dennis Bergkamp was also one of the biggest dickheads in the game. Still, we're dying out for quality and I'd prefer Suarez to nobody without a shadow of a doubt, don't feel like we're in a position to turn our noses up at a player of his ability. Just feels like if we're willing to spend £40m+ on a single player then there are other options. And imagine the Mousers' dismay - be nice to sit on the right side of that fence for once.

If monkey boy is going for £85m, Suarez would be a bargain at £40mil.
As much as I dont like him as a person, he is a fantastic footballer and would of won player of the year last year, if he never thought he was at steves BBQ when the mickys played the chavs.
Please Wenger just do whats got to be done.
I believe him and another quality signing like fellani could win us the prem.

Disgusted. I don't care how good he is at football, the man is a *word censored* of the highest order.

Id say Wenger is taking medication somewhere in the, land of the rising sun now to get over the shock of thinking of paying out 40m

Agree with this. Also I may add that with Suarez IMO we would win the league. With Higuain however I see us challenging but not winning it.

So was Vieira. Spat at Neil Ruddock, that's worse than biting in my book.

What about our legendary drink driving captain?
