The usual suspects played very well today in my opinion. Flappy, best game for us by far, couldn't do anything about the goals. Clichy did well too.

Kos and Squillachi are fairly slow, and when they faced the pace and power of Malouda, Drogba and Anelka, I thought they were going to have a nightmare. They didn't.

The attack was pretty solid but not vicious enough to say the least.

One player I have to say I'm sick of is ARSHAVIN. He lost as many balls as the whole Chelsea team combined, he didn't chase back, and besides the kick early in first half, he did fuck all.

It's the most difficult match of the season, and we gave them a very very good fight, but again they won. :barscarf:
Kos is by no means slow. Squillaci on the other hand is.

Spot on. The guy simply is too lazy to be a top-class footballer. Arsene needs to put a rocket up his arse.

I don't like making excuses but injuries cost us today, With RvP, Cesc and Vernaelen we would have won that game.. Any team in the league will be rocked when first choice striker, first choice midfielder and first choice defender are all out..

But we should have a plan B.

Screw this - you'd rather call the manager a *word censored* but don't have the balls to say or do anything about the Board's policies which are at the heart of this - and as Arsene Wenger confirmed in the Mail today will remain at the heart of this for the next 20 years unless the Board change their minds or sell out completely.

Stop trying to pretend the problems are down to something else already.

Maybe the people who have used all these good financial numbers to cash in by selling shares are the *word censored* here, if anyone is in fact a *word censored*..

I wasn;'t gong to go into this but we as a supporter base remind of a drunk who loses his job, his girl, his best mate, even his flat, and his relationship with his folks, but tries to come up with a different reason for each thing happening just who doesn't have to quit drinking..

There is ione root problem here - one critical difference in the way we conducted ourselves the last five years than how we did from 1998-2005, and that has impacted every other cuase for our decline you try to unearth.

Some of you may not want to talk about it but in that case maybe you don't really want things to get better. I guess calling the manager unjustified insults is better than trying to fix things. Just like for the drunk drinking is better than fixing his problems.

EDIT - I feel a bit bad. That comes offf more harshly than intended and I apologize for that

But I stand fully by this - what is the point of complaining about the situation and trying to figure out solutions to the problems if you refuse to deal with the real problem? And this now looks to be the real problem for another 20 years or so according to the manager

I guess because he's our most experienced player.

I get it. This just fucking sucks

As I said I wasn't going to but I'm sick of people constantly savaging a manager they know does not actually have the financial support he needs and used to have given what he achieved for Arsenal with that support, and letting those holding back that support and making nice profits as they do. skate away with no criticism whatsoever.

Does it really matter who is captain?? The way Wenger has thrown the armband around over the last few seasons, treating the position with total disdain, (giving it to Almunia, etc) I'm surprised he didn't give it to Wilshere.
