MAN CITY AWAY THREAD.. and good pub

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

How good was Nasri by the way? World class performance and most shocking of all it came away from home!!

He was our man of the match today by some distance.

Arsenal seem to be a team who win. Not always but enough to keep consistent and competitive.

It's pretty frustrating they can't make that final step.
yep, and after the final lube has dried...that's the truth

Wow what a day and fantastic result! Started the afternoon by going to Weatherspoons and all being kicked out for basically just singing - that's a first for me!!!!

All the team played so well today even Flappy and Djourou seems to be improving. Perfect result, hopefully now we can build on this :barscarf:

As for the football.....

Great result regardless of the circumstances, and really happy for Fabianski. 8) Also delirious that we kept Ade from scoring and, despite some scary moments, that we somehow managed to keep a clean sheet in an away game for the first time in 16 attempts. :barscarf: 8)

Let's hope we use the confidence of this victory as the platform for a long, unbeaten run and, whilst I still have apprehensions as to certain aspects of our play, if we get our injured players back soon we may, just may, be in a position to seriously challenge. 8)

Nasri's scored seven goals in nine starts this season. If he can notch 20+ (as Pires used to do for us), we should be in for a very good campaign. Thought he looked world-class in pre-season, and that form's continued up until now. Let's hope he keeps on improving. He's only 23!

Haven't had one of those myself for bleedin' ages!!

ps fookin brilliant result. Let's hope we can get a run of injury free games and see where it gets us. I'm starting to think that Cesc is close to being the best attacking midfielder in the world and as others have said pleased and relieved for Flappy but he still runs around like he's on acid :barscarf:
