Gervinho is Citeh bound, and I expect Cahill to follow suit
My predictions then
OUT - Almunia, Nasri, Clichy, Denilson, Bendtner. Cesc to stay one more year
IN - Jenkinson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Samba + possibly one more unheard of waste of space from France
In Wenger's mind that will represent success. Wage bill lowered - we have not "killed" the likes of Gibbs, and we have signed two defenders.
As for me - I think it'll represent another failed transfer window.
Ashley Young would have jumped at the chance to join and would have suited us perfectly. He also needs to beef up the midfield with the likes of Arteta - certainly available and a realistic shout - but he won't
Oh well, at least I'll be saving over a grand in ticket money next year

On the contrary my old mate, with Nasri and Cesc on the way out, the Imperious One will be spearheading the midfield in his rightful place where we'll be treated to more of the magic we saw at Craven Cottage a few weeks ago

Height, power and aggression are needed, but if the player is deficient in technical ability and pace he can be just as much a liabality as technical defenders.
Would it be too much to ask that an Adams type defender is signed who combines the physical and technical and leadership qualities needed, not to mention a point Lee Dixon made on Arseblog about being first to an incoming ball?
As far as I know, we've "enquired" about Cahill and are ready to trigger his £17mill buy out clause. We've had a bid accepted for N'Zogbia but yet to talk to agent. Samba is supposedly a "done deal" at £9mill and we'll sign Oxlaide Chamberlain on July 1st.....
