THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Probably doesn't want to suffer the pay cut, plus the scrutiny from the media that would come with the job, never mind the pressure of an environment where your bosses are actually, er... your bosses!!

He'll be made to support a football team - that were once great and once had a very decent manager, but the players have now left, and the once very decent manager has lost the plot, listens to no one, tales no advice and fails to see the blindingly bleeding obvious - for the rest of eternity.

He's turned down the chance to manage his country again. His loyalty is unquestionable imo, and deserves great credit for it. Granted, he's got a dream job here earning mega bucks and winning nothing in a pressure free environment, but it's still Arsenal over France for him and as frustrated as we all are with him, his commitment to our club is brilliant and commendable.

This has to be the most ridiculous post I have ever read, don't you think the benefits of the Arsenal job might not be where his loyalty comes from. And just how long do you think he would last as french boss, with those spoilt band of players, they have shown no respect for world cup winning players, so what respect do you think they would show our tacticless idiot of a manager.
So his commitment to our club is commendable? is it fukking really? he has lied year after year to the fans, fukked up countless winning positions, and sold the clubs best players.
His commitment is to the board and his fukking retirement plan.

Very simply he has turned into a complete and utter embarrassment both with his running of the club and his utterly utterly pathetic touchline tantrums. He has sold off all the silver, RVP is on his bike too. Just go now, please.

wenger made bad players to world class players...don't have to mentions who...knows he also had had bad calls, but could a new manager have done better with small budget?

100% no doubt whatsoever, a decent manager could have done a lot better!! Why? Because Wenger has wasted tens of millions of pounds paying inflated wages to average players for years. If he had paid them what they were worth, he would have had a shitload more cash to play with. Make no mistake, Wenger is the big problem at Arsenal, any manager worth their salt would tell the board to build the team, not asset strip it yet Wenger just goes with it......I wonder why?...........(£7m a year wages and no accountability anyone)?? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
