City / Citeh Drinking and match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's already in bed because he has a late one on a school night tomorrow.....especially if he keeps up his midweek habit of a couple of beers at the Emirates, Marseille style :D

At last year's AGM, Ivan Gazidis clarified - in the presence of Arsene Wenger - that Wenger has 100% control over the wage decisions and contractual details of every single member of the playing staff.
Check for yourself.
Don't let the facts get in the way mind...

Yes and we really believe everything Ivan says don't we ,no really don't we ?

Wenger is paid a fortune to do their bidding ,he isn't going to rock the boat here, for sure he has some influence but the negotiations for the filthy lucre have always been done by others ,the length of the contract and if Wenger still wants him of course are down to him etc etc the exact balance we dont know but for sure he doesn't have it all his own way as some would suggest !
Anyway I digress I'm not an AKB ,I just think it ridiculous to use the words of Gazidis to justify your rabid hatred baba I thought u could do better.

Facts are useless in emergencies !
