Villa match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Hate it when the players surround the ref begging for a card to be given.

Makes me sick to see these useless nutters do that. Fucking get on with it.

As ever when we play against a team with some proper physical strikers he is reduced to jelly. Another average Wenger signing overrated by the fans
Exactly. Playing against the likes of Agbonlahor and Benteke it's not really a surprise he's had a stinker.

FFS for the second yellow he shat himself as soon as the ball went up in the air and was standing so far off him that even though the ball came down and hit him on the back Koscielny still couldn't react quickly enough.

Don't worry we still have Higuain and Suarez on our imaginary bench to come on and change things..... :rubchin:

You never know though, if we do go on to lose this, Wenger may offer an extra pound for Suarez so there's always that silver lining.

Great run by ros. Was a tough chance to take with the keeper closing down.

That's what Ches should have done.

Wasn't a pen but if you're diving into a tackle from behind with the ref miles away and only get the slightest of studs on the ball then a fair few of them will get given.

Villa have not played well. They turned up unable to string a pass together, an absolute shambles defensively, even contrived to give us an early lead and we've still done our very best to get them back into the game.

And there goes the PL's potentially best defender :barscarf: :barscarf:
Absolutely. It's alll about decisions and Wanker's players don't make good ones because he's incapable of instilling in them a sense of maturity and responsibility.

We are a team in Wenkers image - when it goes well we are fine - when it goes against us, we get petulant, lose our focus, waste energy moaning and say it wasn't fair. :banghead:

Yeah give us the money to get interest off to line the owner's pockets. :banghead:

For all the "this is the year he'll spend big" brigade

GAME 1

A right back at left back
Same selection of shit keepers
Two fit centre halves one of whom is now suspended
No proper CDMs
The same selection of dross up front
The team with more fixtures to play in August than any other
Still more interested in farming out shite on loan

I suppose Wenker has the excuse that Man Utd lost their first game last season. :banghead:

With sagna as our only option as cover at centre back what are the odds of him getting injured in midweek ? Podolski might have to play at centre half or left back to get a start
