Some Quotes from John Cross:

"Wenger is Arsenal's best manager of all time. Deserves better than that banner, IMO. But 3,000 travelled up here. That's great support".

"Sadly, THAT banner is not a new thing. Common at away games. You've just won 4-0, on course for a third FA Cup and yet some never happy...".

"Well done @IanWright0 - spot on re the fans. Incredible"

Like Augie said Wrighty's as thick as shit, I wouldn't take a blind bit of notice of anything he says. As for John Cross? Think it's already been said on here a million times what a fucking grade A dickhead he is. I wouldn't wipe my hole with one of his erotic articles on his man crush.

Great to see the banner has ruffled the feathers of the brain dead masses though, I fucking love it. It's got em all hot and bothered and I hope they fucking choke on it.

Arsene, fuck the memories, JUST FUCK OFF

Wonga says 'judge him at the end of the season'.................haven't heard that one for a while you senile old muppet!

Even worse, he says Ramsey was on the bench because he had a minor injury......and then you bring him on?? Surely if someone is carrying any type of injury you don't play them full stop? It was the same with Cech, he said he was carrying a bit of an injury in the one before he got 'very' injured. Jeez our medical setup is like a 'Carry On' film!

Anyway, good to see the banner, good to get the press talking about 'pressure' on Wonga again because he hates it, REALLY hates it! Sustained pressure on him until the end of the season may see him gone by 2020!! :barscarf:

Arsenal fans are over it. Wenger's goodwill has ran out and fans now have a complete intolerance for Wenger's failure. We dont accept losing out to Tottenham and Leicester City in the league title. Sure City, Chelsea and United are behind as well, but all three of their managers will/have been canned - why shouldnt Wenger share their fate?

Arsenal fans no longer will buy into the excuses and rationale for failure. We also reject the rubbish talk about how 'top 4 is a trophy'. Unless Wenger can raise his game, he is going to continue to get jeered and booed, and have banners rolled out asking him to leave. He cant keep asking Arsenal fans to hold low expectations just to he can meet that threshold. He needs to win the league this year to meet the threshold, and if he cant find a way to make it happen, then there is going to be a massive problem.

So Wenger and the media need to stop bitching and just accept this is the way it is. Dont fing dare tell us we are being unreasonable. You kind of bring this level of criticism and revolt on yourself when you F up for over a decade.

The other day Wright before the scum game refused to agree with Piers Morgan assessment on TMOTD but he also didn't disagree. Then old duck mouth Ferdiscum was questioning and laying into TMOTD (and rightly so) and was bigging up Taggart (and rightly so) - Wright agreed with the sentiment. And yet tonight he disagrees with supporters who spend their hard earned cash not being allowed to voice their opinion.

I hate the way the ex-players won't come out and call it as it is (even though they have to see it and obviously know more about his lack of tactical acumen as they have seen it first hand) - they blame the players when things aren't going right and say they should take more responsibility and when things are going right they praise TMOTD. Then u get the flip floppers who say it's time for change but then change their mind after a couple of wins and wonder “who could u replace him with”.

Ian Wright is my favourite Arsenal player of all time and it will take some hell of a player to change that. Even though he got shit on by said manager (ie dropped for the cup final and shown the exit door) he still shows loyalty albeit in flip floppish kind of way lately.

Just coz Ian Wright Wright Wright has different flip flop opinions doesn't mean he shouldn't deserve respect from Gooners. It seem that as a rule ex-players are probably limited in what they say about former managers and colleagues (unless ur trying to flog a book).

So while I started out pointing out Wrights wrongdoings I flip flopped and defended him.

#flipflop

I agree with the sentiment that it was the perfect time for the banner to be brought out. If we had been beat it would've been seen as a tantrum. This shows people that one victory against Hull reserves doesn't solve the underlying problem at the club.

As long as we adopt the flat track bully mentality for the remaining 9 games then we should win 8 out of last 9 games as that is exactly the sort of teams we will be playing, bar Man City.

The banner was timely. The way I interpreted Wrighty emotion was that of a player. He did say if we were out of all competitions then every right to roll out the banner. But as a player it sends out a negative message. I'm of the belief that all pundits still think of themselves as playerss that's why they are not managers.
Iwobi played well reminded me of Chamberlain in his early days. Just as I hoped Walcott and giroud got on the score sheet and hope got some confidence. Get the feeling they don't particularly like each other. Like Cole and sheringham at Utd a few years back, but as long as they do the business on the pitch. Elneny looks like a good consistent player, comfortable as DM and CM.
Think the players came off injured with Barcelona in mind as all walked/ jogged off so can't be too serious. In other words they are ruling themselves out of Sunday to play in the big game. Roll on sunday.

So glad we're into the quarter finals. Love the Cup. Hull were crap & we weren't much better. Walcott was useless until the cross he made for Girouds first goal. Now he's played & scored 2 goals I'm worried Wenger will start him in games to come. I hope the injuries arn't too serious, we need a complete squad to select from. Cambell again played OK & should get a consistent starting place in the future. Iwobi & the young french sub looked OK. The 'Hornets' will be no push-over on Sunday. :barscarf: :barscarf:

You seem to live in a different world to the rest of us. Wright can F off, if he cannot be impartial he shouldn't be there. And as for saving themselves for the "big game"??? The big GAMES are ALL the league games and the FA cup.... the CL adventure is over, we should be sending the reserves.

Loved Ian Wright, was my favourite player growing up and always will be.

Fucking useless pundit though who is just put on TV because he can barely articulTe himself and will often make a fool of himself. Once he makes a comment which can be interpreted as slightly anti-Wenger then people on here will jump on it but the reality is he's a useless pundit and a classic AKB - not only that but he is fiercely loyal to some of the players themselves and views criticism of the club and regime as a personal slant against them.

Comical moment was when he took a corner could not lift the ball over the first man, only to get another corner which he totally over hit :D

Know he picked up in the second half, but really £130 a week and cannot take a corner... :D

Not just him.....Corner taking at Arsenal has been appalling for years, Wenker just ignores it

Always liked Wrighty but last night he showed how detached he is from us. This aint just about a defeat to Swansea or United its about the same shit year after year and the same mistakes by Wenger, whereby he can't beat Leicester to a League title.
How much money has Ian Wright spent on Season tickets and travel each year. Thought not!!
You're not in a position to criticise us supporters you plum.

I don't think we were 4 nil better than Hull , but I'll take it, especially if Giroud and wally can convert the goalscoring into the Prem. I love going to away matches loads of singing and shouting - and - we could stand up for the whole match. At the grove the stewards are like little Hitlers telling you to sit down all the time. Still many aspects of our lethargic play on view. But hey, we're through!! :barscarf: :barscarf:

We all get pissed off with the likes of Keown for how pro-Wenger he is, regardless of the circumstances, but at least he shows consistency in his views. Wright on the other hand, for anyone who follows him on twitter will know, he argues with AKB'S constantly. He seems to believe he should be able to pick and choose when he is pro Wenger or anti-Wenger, but us fans are not entitled to an opinion. I have far more respect for someone who consistently says they are Wenger out, even when it is after a win, than someone who changes their mind constantly. Also, Wright can fuck off pontificating to anyone, the only reason he was there last night was because BT paid him to be, fans on the other hand, travel all over England(and over Europe) for little reward.
