Racism and biting isn't politicsgreen gooner wrote:Again I will state I would take Suarez in a heartbeat![]()
I don't want to offend anybody but I could not care less about his polotics, or anyone elses for that matter

40 Mill is the limit I would go up too is he up there with the best in the world no and with all the baggage he brings £40,000.001 is just about right so John W Henry can fuck himselfnorthbank123 wrote:So John W Henry has asked what we're smoking after that bid. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy slating our club as much as the next fella on here but that right doesn't extend to pricks like this![]()

I can fully understand why they turned down the deal but does the bloke seriously expect to recoup substantially more than £40m from anybody for him? He's desperate to go and his silence is a complete embarrassment and no fucking way am I being laughed at by a bloke who continues to spunk his money away on woeful players while they try and hang onto Everton's coat-tails.

Well I differ I think Higuaín is a better goal scorer in the mode we need and his value is 32 mill

Suarez is good. The best in the world are Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta he's not in that bracket.
Just behind are vanStaplecunt, Xavi, Falcao he's not even at that level.
Suarez is very good, a Bronze level third tranche player.

I dont have a link but it states all of his broken promises and the fact that Arsenal are far too big to be a team that is a buffer club for Man Utd. After reading it I thought yeah you are right.
Another point is this is our first window where none of our stars are wanted by anyone else. Guess that means we lost our best players over the last 4 or 5 years.
Wow Wenger has talked alot of bollocks and kept his job.
Intriguing idea

I'd argue he is. Look at his scoring record for Ajax, Uruguay and Liverpool. None of these teams have had any great players to supply him either.highburyJD wrote:Suarez is good. The best in the world are Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta he's not in that bracket.

I love people assume that by buying one player for 40m we automatically become champion contenders!
More likely we'll be ridiculed for having a 40m racist flop that wants to go to Spain for 10m next season.

It was written by Adrian Durham, which basically makes it void, regardless of the sentiment.augie wrote: Intriguing ideaPlease tell me more

I'm still surprised by this bid though because Wenger is notorious for putting the interests of his players above most things and with it being world cup year, would he really want to jeopardise Giroud's chances of playing for France? I cant see it!
Also I think the extra £1 thing shows a lack of class from Arsenal. If the release clause, or whatever it is, is £40m then bid £40m FFS. Don't try and look clever by adding a pound. Is that meant to be funny? It looks juvenile.
And is this what we've waited years for? We spend nothing season after season, losing several of our best players as a result, then Wenger blows £40m on a mental case like Suarez?
For £40m we could have bought Higuain and David Villa and still had money left to get Cesar.
Re: SUMMER TRANSFERS - Deals, Rumours and Buy/Sell Wish List
Suarez is one of the best strikers in the world. Better than Cavani for instance. He's also so much more than a goalscorer. If we get him for 8 million (and one pound) more than Higuain, who remember Mourhinio never trusted in big games, then it's a snitch.
And he would make us contenders. He's World Class. Add 2 more players to him and you're looking at suddenly a very promising side.

Surely the £1 thing at the end of the £40mill is a piss take, and can only serve to antagonise the scouse hiearchy?
